The Neurothrope is a uniquely adapted Tyranid Zoanthrope that has the ability to feed, not upon flesh and blood, but upon the psychic energy and souls of its victims. It is believed that this creature was evolved to replicate the Doom of Malan'tai, which took its name from the events on the Eldar Craftworld of Malan'tai, where it devoured the spirits of the Craftworld's Infinity Circuit and went on to reduce the entire Craftworld to a lifeless shell.

Spirit LeechDrain the energy of a targeted squad, consuming 8 of the targets energy per second, and dealing 6 heavy melee damage while the Neurothrope restores 16 energy per second for 5 seconds and immobilizing the squad. Range 44, cooldown 40 seconds. |
