Chaos Heretics

“Enemies of the Dark Gods, beware!”

The slaves of Chaos are not to be underestimated as their numbers and willingness to be sacrificed for the Dark Gods make them a dangerous foe. They can support Chaos armies with Worship or be sent in amongst enemies where they can pose a real threat early on.

This unit takes 40% less damage from melee weapons. Passive ability.

Doom Blast

Makes a Heretic explode with Chaos energy, dealing plasma damage equal to 20% of the heretic's maximum health and suppressing enemies in radius 12. 7.5 second cooldown. This ability is lost if the squad is upgraded with grenade launchers.

Repair

Repair an allied vehicle or building for 10 health per second. Does not work on biological units. Cooldown 5 seconds.

Grenade Barrage

Launches a barrage of grenades at the designated location, each doing 25 grenade damage and weapon knockback in radius 6. Range 50, cooldown 45 seconds.

Worship (Khorne)

Sends the Heretics into an unholy veneration of the Dark Gods. Your own units in radius 35 have their speed increased by 2, while your daemons also have their health regeneration increased by 10 hp/s and energy regeneration increased by 1.5 e/s. Heretics are disabled while worshipping.

Worship (Nurgle)

Sends the Heretics into an unholy veneration of the Dark Gods. Your infantry and vehicles in radius 35 have their health regeneration increased by 3.5 hp/s, while your daemons have their health regeneration increased by 11.75 hp/s and energy regeneration increased by 1.5 e/s. Heretics are disabled while worshipping.

Worship (Tzeentch)

Sends the Heretics into an unholy veneration of the Dark Gods. Your units in radius 35 become infiltrated, while your daemons also have their health regeneration increased by 10 hp/s and energy regeneration increased by 1.5 e/s. Heretics are disabled while worshipping. Partially detected units take 20% less ranged damage.

An Aspiring Champion with heavy_infantry armor and 300 hp comes to lead the squad; he cannot be killed until all Heretics have fallen. Increases the max health of the squad by 20% and detects infiltrated units in radius 30. 3.65 piercing DPS, 34.62 melee DPS.

Grenade Launchers  | T1

Equips 4 squad members with grenade launchers (7.02 grenade launcher DPS, 6 melee DPS), effective against stationary infantry and garrisoned infantry. Replaces Doom Blast with Grenade Barrage. Exchanges remaining weapons for autoguns (5.42 piercing DPS, 6 melee DPS) or a boltgun in the case of the Aspiring Champion (8 dps, 22 dps melee.)
