Laptop specs

Postby ShowMeMagik » Tue 21 Nov, 2017 10:11 pm

Hey guys

I'm looking at a new laptop/poss black friday deal.

I'm not looking to spend loads but would like decent enough to run some games. If it plays elite then great. At the moment I can barely run it.

Seen a few great deals on laptops with Intel hd4400 graphics cards but unsure.

So what sort of ram/graphics card would you recomend

Question is: does it have to be a laptop? If you're looking to run games better then a desktop is ideal, but for your situation maybe not.

And Intel integrated graphics? Yuuuuuuuuuuuck.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Basically I want a laptop for work etc so a desktop is not really practical. I kind of want the gaming aspect as an added bonus if it doesn't break the bank. I don't play games that often but would like the option.

Here's a couple I saw

you should always get radeon or geforce over IntelGPUs if u wanna game... not that they are bad.. but you just get way more from a radeon/geforce..
also for the LOOOOVE of god.. get a PC with an IPS panel... TN panels are horrible and you cant change them on a labtop.

also.. do u wanna carry it around alot?..
do u want a 15 inch screen ?

ad me on steam magic ill help you out.. build pces for the last 15 years...

also A8-4555M is from 2012.... we can find somthing better for you.

My laptop is from 2012 prob why it struggles.

15 inch screen is my preference, it won't need to be mega light/portable but just need to be able to take it places for work occasionally.

I'll add you when I'm next on later
