I don't know if you played or not, I am just puuting some stuff that I have in my mind right now.

Starcraft I for some olm memories
Starcraft II which is still good

DoW I campains, Darc Crusade if actually fun to play.

Space Hulk Asencions : I really like this game, I can suggest you to buy at least 1 DLC, also I have written a guide about melee combat of this game.

Company of Heroes but I guess you have already done that

Total War, there should be at least 1 Total War you haven't played yet I think.

And I heard that there is also a Lord of the Rings RTS, have no idea how it looks like

Heroes III or Heroes V. My friends suggested III as well as V, but couldn't have a chance to play III. Heroes V however is one of my favoorite RTS games. Heroes VI also exists but have no idea that is it worth to play, since I haven't played yet.

egewithin said it all, so the only game i wish to recommend you to give a try is "Ultimate General Gettysburg". Beautiful and realistic tactical RTS for non-casuals . Something like "Napoleon Total war" but not with retarded AI (AI is pretty smart actually) and not so arcadish. Unfortunately the multiplayer is pretty dead (but still can find a game sometimes). Still, campaign is fun

Depends on what type of RTS you like. I was a fan of the old Warcraft 3 and frozen throne games way back when. Xcom series, Xenonauts, Age of mythology, Rise of legends, Homeworld is excellent, Sins of a solar empire if you like space, Supreme Commander is great as well.

Played both BFME games, they were good but I liked the n°1 better, I've got to know myth through max, I might give it a try but from what I've seen it just seems a proto-total war.
