Note: This is a full installer. You don't need any other version of Elite to install 2.9.5. You ONLY need to have Retribution!
Note 2: If you have army painter schemes you don't want to be wiped, find the playercfg.lua file in your Documents\My Games\dawn of war ii - retribution\Settings folder and make a copy of it so you can add it back in.

General:
Freebootaz Flash Gitz keep their pirate hats on when equipped with gitfindaz.
Multiple tooltips fixed or updated to reflect actual in game values.
Default hotkey for Dark Reaper Pinning Fire ability changed to F.
Default hotkey for Falcon’s Wing wargear and ability changed to H.

Bugfixes
Zoan Regeneration Synapse now properly scales per level.
Sentinel missiles from the Catachan Elite scheme now fire out of the proper spot.
Brother Captain’s Psychic Lash no longer deals extra damage outside of retreat.
Raveners no longer use the burrow animation if they are infiltrated by other units.
IG Turrets can no longer be scrapped when upgrading to t2.
Guardsman squad commissar execution reliability improved.
Operative retreat plan reliability improved.
Chosen Plague Marines’ Decay Aura visuals and effects optimized.
Plague Champion’s Icon of Nurgle visuals and effects optimized.
Chosen Plague Marines’ Nurgle's Rot no longer has some potential lingering effects.
Damage checks for the plague sword no longer linger indefinitely.
Certain damage checks for spore mines no longer linger indefinitely.
Initial targets hit by spore mines will now take the intended reduced damage on retreat.
Call the Boyz spawn improved reliability and spawn locations changed to be directly on heroes.

New Maps:
(2p) Ocean Base Manann - map set in an underwater facility slowly succumbing to ocean pressure
(6p) Typhon Mire - A new (old) type of map where existing campaign maps are remade to suit current multiplayer

Updated Maps:
(2p) Doom of Tularis - Changed the north side shotblocker to be shorter, made the map more burny
(2p) Seraph Palace - Removed the Wingblade lamp
(2p) Tiamet's Paradise - Reduced the south side shot blocker and normalised base turret placements
(6p) Angel Gate Redux - updated layout
(6p) Lorthas Cataclysm - fixed pathing tunnel issues
(6p) Sentinel Beach - corrected pathing issues

ImageChaos Space Marines

Chaos Lord:
Armour of Inferno now also grants 1 hp regen on top of its other effects.
Daemonic Visage cost from 125/30 to 110/25.

Landraider Phobos:
Now has the Daemonic trait, can heal under worship.
Production time reduced from 90 to 75 seconds.

Rangers:
Detection Radius reduced from 40 to 30.

Guardian Weapon Team:
Platform speed reduced from 6 to 5.5.

Inquisitor:
Helfury initial damage reduced by 3.
Servo Skull reveal time increased from 5 to 15 seconds.
Servo Skull reveal ability is now a fire and forget ability, but inq still has to stand still for 2 seconds.
Servo Skull melee attack detection time reduced from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.
Infiltrated Storm Troopers cost increased from 250/125 to 300/125.
Excruciators now grants 0.5 health regeneration.
Assail deals 40% less damage against units in retreat.

Lord General:
Grenade Launcher short range AoE radius decreased from 3 to 1.
Grenade Launcher medium range AoE radius decreased from 2 to 1.5.
Grenade Launcher long range AoE radius increased from 1.5 to 2.
Grenade Launcher distance range AoE radius increased from 1 to 4.

Artillery Spotters:
Artillery Spotter range increased from 38 to 45.
Flare shell cast time reduced from 2.5 seconds to 1.8 seconds.

Kasrkin:
Kasrkins equipped with only hellguns now passively have no weapon cooldown.
Plasma gun damage per hit reduced from 50 to 48.
Grenade Launcher short range AoE radius decreased from 3 to 1.
Grenade Launcher medium range AoE radius decreased from 2 to 1.5.
Grenade Launcher long range AoE radius increased from 1.5 to 2.
Grenade Launcher distance range AoE radius increased from 1 to 3.
Squad formation changed from heretic to guardian.

Brother-Captain:
Blessed Aegis grants an additional 0.5 hp regen.
Canticle of Absolution cost decreased from 175 to 150
Mantle of Terra cost decreased from 120/30 120/25.
Battle Rites effect radius increased from 15 to 25.
Bulwark cost reduced from 120/25 to 110/20
Bulwark melee damage resistance changed to flat damage resistance.
Bulwark damage buff now only applies to melee damage.
Bulwark duration time increased from 12 seconds to 15 seconds.
Psychic Lash duration increased from 6 to 8.
Psychic Lash speed reduced from 80% to 70%.
Psychic Lash is now only channeled for 2 seconds.
Psychic Lash healing removed.

Eversor Assassin:
Neurotoxin no longer scatters.
Hypermetabolism health bonus increased from 10 hp/s to 12 hp/s.

Daemonhunter:
Light of the Emperor duration increased from 15 to 22.
Force Rod spell casting time reduced from 2 seconds to 1.2 seconds.
Force Rod now has new more aggressive animations.
Banishing cloak cost reduced from 150/30 to 150/25.
Banishing cloak cast time reduced from 2 to 1.5.
Banishing cloak is now cancellable but not refundable.
Final Tempest damage increased from 15 to 18.
Empyrean Brain Mines cost reduced from 100/25 to 100/20.

Inquisitorial Storm Troopers:
Formation changed from heretic to guardian.
Acolyte cost increased from 80/20 to 90/20.
Plasma gun cost increased from 80/25 to 90/25.

Strike Squad:
Tomes of Titan cost decreased from 75/20 to 75/15.
Strike Justicar increases health regen by 0.5.
Strike Justicar now increases speed by 0.5.

Operatives:
Meltabomb energy cost reduced from 50 to 40.

Interceptors:
Psyk-out Grenade range increased from 20 to 24.
Teleport delay decreased from 1.5 to 1.
Interceptors no longer need to face in the direction they are teleporting too.
Damage resistance while jumping increased from 80% to 90% and increased to 3 seconds.
Interceptor damage resistance bonus now only applies during jump
Interceptors now have complete knockback resistance for 5 seconds.
Interceptor teleport cooldown decreased from 7 to 5.
3 second 50% ranged damage debuff after teleport removed.
Interceptor Psycannon weapon damage changed from anti_vehicle_pvp to armor_piercing_pvp
Interceptor Psycannon no longer deals damage in an AoE

Crusaders:
Armour_type changed from infantry to infantry fire_resist.
Call in time reduced from 3 to 0
Battle Frenzy added to T2 with lesser effects, Increases squad's damage resistance and courage damage resistance by 20%, grants +1 speed, and increases health regeneration by 2.5 hp/s for 5 seconds.
T3 Acolyte Increases effects to previous values.

Purifiers:
Psychic Field effect radius increased from 12 to 15.
Psychic Field now drains 1 energy per second from units caught in the field.

Rhino:
Heavy Bolter cost increased from 50/15 to 50/20.

ImageOrks

Warboss:
Bang bang hammer can now proc buffs from hitting vehicles.

Kommando Nob:
Stunbomb no longer scatters.

Flash Gitz:
Population cost increased from 5 to 6.

ImageTyranids

Global:
Spore mine cost increased from 75/5 to 100/5 when spawned from infestation towers.
Tyranoformation damage resistance will no longer negatively affect units if synapse is already active.
Tyranoformation ranged damage buff replaced with an overall damage buff to squads in radius 45.
Tyranoformation damage buff reduced from a 25% increase to 15% increase.
The effects of capillary infestation towers no longer conflict with other abilities and synapses.

Hive Tyrant:
Extended Carapace now grants 0.5 health regeneration.
Bonded Exoskeleton Now grants 0.5 health regeneration.

Lictor:
Flight distance on Flesh Hook knockback reduced 16 to 12.
Lictor Alpha lone hunter damage bonus decreased from 50% to 40%.
Venom Brood global call in drop time increased from 7 seconds to 12.

Warriors:
Cost increased from 300/25 to 300/30.
Barbed Strangler cost decreased from 50/25 to 50/20.

Spore Mines:
Health decreased from 750 to 600.

Zoanthrope:
Zoan Regeneration Synapse modifier per level changed from 0.5 to 1.5.
Focused Warp Blast can no longer be used on targets with building_light, building_defence or building armor.

Neurothrope:
Neurothrope Paroxysm ability no longer has a minor suppression effect.

The game+reporter launcher doesn't launch if my shortcut I already have for the game on my desktop isn't already there. Kinda pointless

Saved a replay and it seems to crash within the first few minutes (same point each time).

It was on Typhon Mire map in case it's only due to the map.

You lose like 50 fps if you have reflections on in Typhon Mire lol

Glad to see some spore mine changes. Still think RA tunnels offer too much in the current state of the game. Thanks to all involved!

Hello,

Thanks to keep us updated.

Just wondering as I am recent and installed the 2.9.5.1 which so far works super well, impressive result.

but what would be the correct procedure if I want to keep my version up-to-date with this 2.9.5.2 update ?

Is it like automatic once Installed ?
or I need to first uninstall the elite version to reinstall it ?
or I just click on "google drive" and it will automatically do the right thing (either crushing or completing the old version)
or something else ?

It is not urgent considering I am still trying to win in normal vs computer (cough) and also play a bit on standard for last stand but would be sweet if someone can just precise me about that update detail.

Updating to the newest version when a new patch is released is done by getting the installer.exe that contains the newest patch from the release post at forum and running the installer once downloading is finished. Then, the installer will overwrite whatever version you have installed at your computer. Each installer.exe when executed overwrites whatever patch one's computer has with what it contains. There is no need to uninstall or have a previous patch. There were a few cases in way back in the past where some patches like hotfix patches required the previous patch in order for it to work. However, it is not the case for recent few years so can assume each installer will work alone without any previous patch requirement.
- For any patch release, google drive link and mega link are provided for downloading manual installer.
