Yeah just had a look at this - the model file seems to be empty - the modelset just brings up a waithlord?

I can't open the 3dsmax scene with the model either - just keep getting a file open error.
New models for Elite and Retribution...

are Santols scripts being used to export the model? are the havok content tools (neccisary for animation) installed? However if there is no max model in a max file, then he's not at either of those roadblocks yet

There's probably a model there. For me, it said the reason I couldn't open it in Max was that it was saved on a newer version. It's just the .model file that's empty.

So....apparently a SEGA representative heard about the project and sued shadowninja for using material he doesn't own...

SEGA doesn't have any grounds to sue him on - they don't own the Dreadknight, nor can GW simply sue people for creating a 3d model of their product for what is clearly non-commercial use.

tl;dr he's stalling, you're being a chump.

The DK is coming together well, and Shadowninja has been able to pair it with the wraithlord's animation!
So far, it looks very nice! He's shown me the actual animation playing out and the model itself in detail.
He told me he was still working on solving the exportation issue, but that he thinks he almost fixed it.

I am terribly sorry about the painfully slow updates.
Shadowninja has recently been through some very hard stuff (to the point of contemplating suicide).
Though I am happy to tell that he is getting better and also that the DK project is not dead.
Thank you for your understanding.

I'll soon post some images/pictures to show the progress.

It's not a priority that he rushes it. Real life takes priority, and I really do hope he hangs in there and gets well soon. :)

It's shaping up nicely, and I'm looking forward to the continued process, even if it takes forever.

EDIT: THE MODEL APPEARS TO BE MELTED WITH A WRAITHLORD (I GUESS THAT THE FACT THAT THE DK USES THE WRAITHLORD'S ANIMATION MIGHT BE PART OF IT) AND SHADOWNINJA WAS NOT ABLE TO FIX IT. HE'S COUNTING ON YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE TO FIX IT USING A MODEL EDITOR THING.
