The model is coming together, but the animation part is kinda tricky. Plus, my friend is having trouble with the little GK that goes inside and drives the Dreadknight. But so far, all is going well. He should be done soon and I'll transfert to the modders the file containing the model and possibly the animation.

I am happy to announce that the model is done. My friend (who is Shadowninja0069 on Steam) is done, and wants you guys (modders) to perfectionnize it and when you are done with it yourselves and you put it in game, he wants a copy of it for himself. So there you go :

It looks like the .model file doesn't have the model in it. Is this intentional?
The 3DS max file works though, and it looks pretty cool. Props to Shadowninja for some nice work.

Perhaps - if the maker has troubles with animations - he can try to contact Canis-Lupus of Codex Edition. Lupus is an animator, if he has time - he will surely be able to manage it. Btw, if it is ShadowNinja, who makes the model, i believe, they already know each other.

Ok, I'll add him. Not sure how much help I can be though. I don't really have any experience animating or exporting models. He'd probably be better served talking to Lupus or Sterling. Garrick too since he popped up again.

Sorry for the lack of updates on the Dreadknight project. I'm having some hard times comunicating with shadowninja (my friend) and studying for my semester. Don't worry : the project is not dead... only in a coma... sort of...

It's only been about two days since the last picture, around here that is comparatively fast

The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

I've lost connection with Shadowninja (the DK modeller). I don't know what is happening, but I just can't reach him.
I seriously hope he was able to speak with one of you guys (elite mod moderators things) because I'm kind of getting worried about the future of the project....

I talked to him and told him to get in touch with Garrick or Sterling. He told me he sent Garrick an email, and I asked Sterling to offer advice if he could. Shadowninja also posted on Relicnews forums yesterday, so he's still around.

Allright! I spoke with Shadowninja and he told me that he indeed sent a email to Garrick and that they have been working on the project. Though, when I asked about the model file problem, he told me that they haven't fixed it yet. That's pretty much all I have for now. I'm really sorry for the lack of updates about the model or animations or possible stats for the Dreadknight. I just want you to know that it is still being worked on. Again, sorry for the lack of updates.
(Also, quick question: I've been told that games workshop didn't own the rights about the chaos god "Malal". Can anyone explain to me why?)

From what I could gather, Malal was created by writers John Wagner and Alan Gran. When these writers left, GW lost the right to use Malal. There were some references to Malal that popped up, but in recent times, there is an strong absence of his presence.

So...I know I'm repeating myself again but...I'm unable to contact Shadowninjja (the modeler). He's been offline for more time (A LOT MORE TIME) then he told me he was gonna be and got damit I've lost all track of the Dreadknight project's progress. So, again...I'm very sorry. If anyone in the modding team knows anything, please tell me. Thanks for your comprehension.
