Does the site need a new home? I wouldn't mind helping host if we don't already got something

Frankly, I don't think it needs a new home if Fulgrim continues to commit to hosting the current site. I am currently reworking the current website (excl. Forum) to make it more performant and easier to extend with new features in the future but at the same time will keep the old site/backend for legacy reasons.

If we are to stay on the current server though, we need a new active admin with admin privileges on that server. Best case scenario would be shell access.

EDIT:
If you could help me with a new API, I would be eternally thankful.

I'm afraid i'm not a web developer, just a network admin. It wouldn't be too hard to move to AWS or something similar, depending on how it's currently hosted.

Anyway, if it's under control then that's cool. If that changes let me know

Cheers

Yeah, the site is getting old and in need of care. Frankly, there's not many here who even know how to do it. As Noobus said, it's time to look at options.

Pseudorandom is not truly random, it uses a seed value and a relatively complex equation to come up with numbers that "seem" random. For all practical purposes this would be fine, but in a competitive environment you may want true random to remove the possibility of tampering.
