I was just curious about the values assumed using calculations. I understand that 1500+/-350 is the starting point used to assess new players,
I was wondering what values the ladder was using as it's RD generation rate, and the RD's minimum and maximum bounds. Additionally, I was wondering how much the uncertainty was affected when playing against people who either have very large uncertainty built into their score (Via large RD values), or say you beat someone and both your Glicko ratings were fairly certain your skill had no overlap (in both cases where your opponent's skill was determined to be higher than yours with 95% confidence, and the opposite).
I think there was a paper posted on the mechanics of the system floating around in the forums - I just can't seem to find it...
