Why does Chaos need 2 Jump Units?

Why does Chaos need 2 Jump Units?

I mean the title says it all, why are both raptors and bloodletters in the game, no other faction has 2 different sources of jump anti- infantry. of which one can become a.v. in t3, i mean it just completely wrecks all balance in the game. And before someone says just buy a vehicle...It doesn't matter. with 2 sources of jump a.v. you can easily kite that vehicle around the field using impassible terrain, and the you may even be able to surround it because of how there is absolutely no detriment to having 2 jump units on the field, when you just need to buy 1 a.v. squad to mitigate your own.

People's thoughts on the matter?

because bloodletters serve a defensive purpose while raptors serve an offensive one
anyhow you can't go for both otherwise your economy goes to hell

Raptors have been added in Elite to introduce a more reliable counter to suppression teams than GL tics or noise, and to introduce more diversity in their builds.
And yes, going for raptors AND bloodletters is generally not a great idea.

And if you still complain, think about this : Why no mini hero for Chaos ? why no T2 transport giving reinforce for Chaos ?

I don't normally weigh in on these but...

Eldar have Warp Spiders and the Autarch, who can both purchase AV.

Space Marines have meltabomb ASM and Vanguard Veterans in T3.

Tyranids have Raveners and t3 Lictor (if that counts)

Not to mention all the teleporting heroes with AV options.

Bloodletters and Raptors are probably quite alright.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Raptors were added so no one had to build Heretics anymore.

Because Chaos lacks reliable in-field support in exchange for having slightly better combat units on average.
