Despite it's other abilities, the build time for 700(!) hp thing is waaaaaaaaay too fast. So if the guy know how to use it - it's just unfair.
Increase it (it should be proportional to HP/sec like turrets have)

nah the things that counter RA counter the hive node too, just dont do dumb builds vs a 1 trick pony

it's just too fast for thing that stays forever until you burn it. so cost increase/hp decrease (like turret) or build time increase
