Hello there, I may be mistaken, but seems like Commissar mines stopped working with late patches. I mean... They dont blow up anymore. Vechicle, infantry -- everything walks over them for me and mines just dont react. I know that detection prevents them from blowing, but... May it be fixed somehow? From all other IG characters LC seems to have most useless globals.

Lord Commissar mines calling take's like 10 secs to arm or something would be nice if the codex tells you this they seem to be working fine. You can always set them of with catas nade launcher or spotter shell if you want.

Venom brood only get a speed boast from towers when not in combat so long they not fucked that up ;)

Torpid first you say tyranids don't have a snare then cry about short range and fucking rippers are not a snare it's just a thing they have and hoping for it to do anything is just ...........

Thorax swarm was one of the best things that happened to tyranids lately gave them back a reliable snare on a unit that get's used alot that stops walker and such just face changing your venom brood and not giving a shit. Transports and such you just shot down with venom brood that's always been the case.

Seriously? 10 sec to arm? Why is it so? Can we decrease this time? I mean, it is pretty expensive global. And another proposition: maybe it is viable to increase hitbox for mines, so they detonate easier? Or make mines targetable for shooting as it is for enemy. Or make mines take damage not just from splash but from any fire that is made on units on top of them. It is sad when you need to have specialist unit around to use such an expensive global.

I mean mines are used pretty well by higher skill IG players as it is (mainly in combination with Catas). IG already has some of the best AV in the game.

Lc has some of the more busted globals from what I saw and from what other people, who are allowed to have a opinion ( due to playtime), told me.
Take the flair for example...

Mines are super strong for their cost.
Snare on vehics/ combo possibility with catas etc/ retreat wipes ( I have a certain clip from shroom in mind where 2 of adilas squads were wiped on retreat by mines)

I think they are on the upper side of globals for sure

It's a pretty important balance concern otherwise with a shorter arming time it is very easy to drop them on retreat paths mid-engagement and wipe multiple squads. In fact, even now doing exactly that and following up with the mortar shell or ol' reliable is so effective in T1 that it is deemed OP and the mine drop is going to be moved to T2.

You also have to consider shorter arming time makes them even better at being dropped on vehicles to instantly snare them on demand.

If anything the lord Commissar flare should be t2 it's already a brainless global to use drop it on range units win zzzzzzzz. Least with the mine drop you have to combo it or wait for the things to go off.

Falcon still get picked alot I guess we could maybe look at it in t3 with the shield but I say its fine in t2.
