Why the SM cap speed cheat?
Why does the SM tacs still cap with 1.5 speed?

For balance. There is 3 units or so with such a cap rate. CoH volks got the same thing but only till tier 2 though

Because they don't have enough going for them and this makes them truley tactical, I.E. the master cappers of the 41st millenium as well as superhumans.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Why? CSM already outperform Tactical marines, and the Strike Squad have good early game pressure so they don't need faster cappign as theya ren't "Tactical" marines.

In all honesty, at this point in the meta, max has a point. SM have come a long way from where they used to be. I could see the trait being assigned to the sarge or something.

yeah, and with all the anti heavy armor that was added they're now very weak in late game, so it'd be justified if they had 10k hp and 50dps per model with their sarge
In all seriousness tacs are so strong atm they should have 150hp per model and do only 3dps... not fair they are actually well balanced atm

Just out of curiosity what is this drastic thing you have in mind that would be the reason to remove this trait from vanilla tacs? Kraken bolts alone don't justify the cost of 450 req.

No, mate, you are insane. 9900 hp and 49.8 DPS are reasonable numbers. And on top of that "Holy Slaughter" ability that starts from a 2 minute cooldown (such a cool thing to balance things, right?) but then doesn't require energy or other special requirements. And upon activation gives tacs thunder hammers...

Its never bothered me tbh and i feel that it isn't a huge advantage. Il let the sm players say their bit lol

Think it as a delight to SM players. We are sometimes ignoring somethings in this game. Otherwise, that would cause a civil war.
