The following post relates to the Dawn of War 2 Elite Mod Clans. More info on what these are can be found here - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6276
This thread is the recruitment thread for BH, The BrotherHood.

The BrotherHood

The brother-hood prides itself on its close knit community circuit. Every Brother joins up upon hearing the "revelations of Rambo" and from there on out an oath is sworn between each Brother to protect the new one, and in turn that new Brother gifts them his loyalty. The BrotherHood waged many successful wars managing to take down Sojux's Paradox League in the first battle of the clan wars thanks to the efforts of Finale defeating SPL's greatest warrior, Adila in 1v1 combat.

The Mission is key to BrotherHood philosophy. Their own revelations and beliefs must be spread to others because they know that doing so will allow them to live better lives and to flourish. The Mission entails travelling from planet to planet spreading these insights and educating the peasantry there, though this often results in wars as foreign Governors do not approve of this. The BrotherHood therefore is no stranger to war. In a moment of genius Rambo realised by launching a galaxy wide recruitment campaign he could simultaneously bolster her military forces as well as spread the world of The Mission and so he set out through the Warp with a gigantic BrotherHood force to spread the word. However, Rambo got lost in the warp and things changed back home for the BrotherHood as it subsequently started to spiral into stagnancy. Yet now with the entry of Torpid as a new player in BH things may finally pick up again for the BrotherHood and the BrotherHood needs -YOU- to help them do that. You can join the BrotherHood today by sending a direct message to Torpid on the official DOW2 discord, or by posting a reply to this forum thread. In the spirit of clan wars absolutely everyone is welcome, and new players are encouraged to join so we can help you in getting better and grow together. More information can be found about Clan wars here if you are unaware: https://dawnofwar.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6277

Additional information that is requested for anyone that wants to join is a rough playtime in hours for DOW2, which races you play as, which game modes you prefer, and what time zone you are in and what time period is best for you to play in on both Saturdays & Sundays as it is on these days that Clan Wars are most likely to happen. Remeber you are in no obligation to participate in the clan wars merely because you join a clan. Rather, by being in a clan you are enabled to play in the clan wars if you, and your clan master, so wish.

Below is a bit of background information on the two leaders of BH. I will also be posting responses each day announcing some of the new, extremely powerful players that BH has as its 'Four Horsemen'. Players chosen specifically by each of the dark gods to represent their own will and allow Torpid to enact BrotherHood's revenge preparing BH for the return of Rambo himself. With such powerful warriors on their side how can the BrotherHood fail?

Original Clan Master & "The Revelation" -
Rambo
The epitome of charisma. This space marine and occasional warlock player could marry Japanese and Chinese nobility. Cause a sikh Indian to marry a Pakistani Muslim. Allow the cat to befriend the mouse. Rambo founded BH upon a moment of revelation that he received from the Gods. They had a plan for him and he alone. He was the one to enact it. When Rambo sets his mind to something he always succeeds and anyone that was around for the start of the first clan wars will testify this. Unfortunately, at present Rambo entered the warp to try to recruit more followers for his BrotherHood and has not been seen since. His whereabouts if currently unknown but the prophets of the BrotherHood have made it clear to those Brothers left behind that Rambo is not lost; he merely has a mission to complete elsewhere. With time, he will return, and when he does he will return with an army the likes of which has never been seen. The BrotherHood eagerly await this day and refer to it as "The Becoming".

Temporary Clan Master & "Grand Prophet" -
Torpid
Runner up in the Elite Mod Championship and winner of Elite League seasons 2 & 3, Torpid has proven himself time and time again to be amongst the most powerful players in the Dawn of War 2 Elite Mod scene. A versatile player, swapping his racial allegiance with the years that go by, but generally preferring to play as the IG or SM. The dark Gods do not choose a Grand Prophet lightly, but it was Torpid who was selected for this. As Grand Prophet it is down to Torpid to collect together the broken pieces of BH and turn them into something worth fighting for. To create a force that will make Rambo proud when he returns so that come The Becoming the BrotherHood can combine its old forces and its new and dominate over the galaxy spreading its Mission. It is through Torpid that a sufficient receptacle for their combined will was found. And it is through Torpid that the BrotherHood shall rise to glory until the return of the illustrious Rambo to cement their place in the history of the Elite Mod.

Champion of Khorne - Shroom
Shroom is not a name heard much in the texts that speak of Dawn of War 2 yet recently his power has been increasing at a colossal speed. He doesn't waste his time with formalities or small talk; he gets straight into the action, slaughters his opponents and learns from every minor error. Victory is not an option for Shroom it is a way of life. He gained particular notoriety as of late by crushing Torpid in the group stages of Elite league season 4 denying Torpid of a flawless victory and sending him packing for several weeks into a life of exclusivity in the Scottish mountainside. This gained him title of "Torpid Slayer". Shroom then went on to make it to the semi finals of the Elite League Season 4 only to be defeated there by the maniacal Bestnoob.

But these losses are easily brushed off by Shroom. It is to him, merely a learning experience. And as each day goes on and more unworthy challengers fall to his blade he grows ever stronger. How many days remain until he is truly unstoppable?

Champion of Tzeentch - Dark Riku
Dark Riku is a name that his opponents know all too well and fear to hear when considering who it is who are standing against them on the other side of the battlefield. He is a long term veteran of Dawn of War 2 winning many accolades throughout the early history of the Elite mod including a near innumerable number of monthly rumble tournaments. He is well known for his powerful CL pressure, conservative apothecary plays and tenacious lictor alpha predation. Unfortunately for the BrotherHood Dark Riku was assigned a unique task by Tzeentch many years prior and has been missing from combat ever since. They say he is preparing a crucial ritual that will change the universe in favour of BH once finished. Perhaps Rambo's mission is similar? All we know for certain is that when he returns he will be more than ready to demonstrate personally why he is a champion of the BrotherHood.

Champion of Nurgle - Red Beard
He's the nice guy of the bunch. Always accessible and welcoming; you can always go to Red Beard if you need help with a problem. That very attitude was what made Papa Nurgle so fond of him in the first place. One day whilst tending to some flowers in his idlylic garden on his Island home he heard a voice call out to him from down at the beach. Naturally, being the man of benevolence we know him to be Red Beard rushed over to aid what he thought was an ailing person. It turned out to be a horrendously disheveled male in a critical condition that had washed ashore. He had some strange illness and had been kicked out of his homeland and exiled to sail the seas.

Red Beard was well practised in natural medicine and managed to stop the man from dying but not all of his symptoms would go away; his skin still covered in buboes and a mucky yellow tinge. And his taint begun to spread to everyone on Red Beard's island. Coming down with a mystery illness and seemingly no way to stop it the islanders started to go mad with panic. Red Beard himself felt guilty about what he had done, was it all his fault and could this have been avoided? Could his benevolence be the death of his entire island people? But no, he came to accept it as his fate and miraculously he noticed in spite of this illness none of the islanders were dying. In fact, they ceased to feel much pain at all and they no longer needed to sleep as long. It seemed there was something in their diets from the natural medicines of the island that synergised perfectly with the disease to make it only benefit them. Or perhaps, it was merely a blessing from nurgle himself. The islanders flourished from this new found power and spread out on a grand mission to tell others about their blessing and spread the world of nurgle.

Red Beard was at the forefront of these missions and has followed nurgle ever since and with time he only grows stronger and he acquires more and more knowledge and experience about the viruses and bacteria that plague the universe. He was recruited in the BrotherHood for his undeniably superb skills of healing and natural charm, as well as his experience in many battles against unruly foreigners who would not accept his blessings. It wasn't long before he was not only the Champion of Nurgle for the BrotherHood but also their chief recruiter and director of the Academy for Research into Combat Medicine (ARCM).

Did I mention that he just won the Monthly Team Tournament 37?
