...Said 'new-blood' being me in this case - hi hello, wanted to play this mod for a while but only recently have I gotten it to work.
Now that I'm here, I do have to ask, where might be a good place to start getting into the Elite mod? Should I just jump right into 1v1 matches? Team games?
Where to start for new-blood?

Re: Where to start for new-blood?
Hey dude! And welcome!
Good way to start, watch some videos Rostam and Indrid are fantastic and very informative Team games are good as it allows for errors but 1v1 more intense and recently plenty new players to get stuck into! Just drop a post or join discord and you can make plenty of friendly grudges.... (stoned_Elf)
Also we have noob tournaments, forums and some really great people so I guess just go for it! If you do play online just let people know you're either new to Elite Mod or host games for a safer option
Good luck!

Well, I've already got the first part of that covered; watched plenty of Indrid's casts - they're what got me wanting to try things out here. XD

Hej there and welcome!
I would recommend 1v1 because you can only blame yourself if things go wrong (or pat your back if they go right). That way poeple can comment on your games (just after the game or with the help of a replay). Combine these two factors and you'll have a pretty good learning opportunity.
See you ingame!
