For the emperor query

Postby ShowMeMagik » Thu 03 Nov, 2016 9:01 pm

If I use fte on some pdevs that have just fired will the buff effect the shot already in flight or does it get applied to the next time the gun fires?

Lab it :P

I'm gonna guess you need to do it beforehand though. But not certain.

I am guessing the Devs could answer this better than I but here it goes: I believe the dmg is calculated on-hit so FTE should still affect the projectile. The only way I could see this not being the case is if the projectile becomes a seperate entity/instance from the unit (speaking code here) once it has been fired. As in: is FTE applied to the unit and consequently to the NEXT projectile that will be fired or does it not matter in which order this happens because all status changes are applied on-hit?

Same than with grenades, you need to apply the buff beforehand.
