1. Sign Up Procedure
1/ I want to sign up alone
- Make a post at the sign up page with below information.
1) Your Steam Page URL
- Go to your profile page on Steam and right click on your profile picture. From the list of options that appears, select Copy Page URL.
2) Your Steam ID
3) 3 Commander Choices OR Only Random
- On the day of the tournament, the organizer will assign you a teammate and a team name. You can check who is your assigned teammate at one of the Participant Lists which is located at the sign up page. Keep on refreshing those pages because they change a lot due to last minute sign ups.
4) (OPTIONAL) If you deem yourself low skill, you may want to inform me about your Steam playing hours for fairer placement in the brackets. This should be an approximate value excluding time spent in idling, observing, bashing AI, The Last Stand and Campaign.
5) (CAUTION) When changing your hero pick within 2 hours before the start of the tournament, you have to make a new post as opposed to editing your old post.
- This is to prevent disputes that may arise from the organizer inputting hero picks early before signed up players make a change in their hero picks by editing their sign up post last minute, which can result in last minute hero pick changes not getting inputted by the organizer.

2. What to do on the day of the tournament
1/ Be present in the Steam Group Chat of the MRT Steam group
- Group Name: DoW II Elite Monthly Rumble tournament!
- Group Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/dow2emrt
- In order to join the Steam group, copy paste above link into any Steam chat box and click on the pasted link. Clicking on the pasted link transfers you to the main page of the said Steam group. You join the group from that page which will unlock in turn the button to get into the group chat.
- In order to enter the group chat, simply visit the MRT group page and hit Enter chat room button through a logged in Steam account.
- If you accidentally close down the group chat box, there are two ways to get back into it. First way is to use the Steam main screen. Open up big Steam screen and put your cursor on top of your ID tab which is located on the top side of the screen next to COMMUNITY tab. That will bring down a list of menus and you click on GROUPS menu from the list. From the list of groups that appears, click on MRT group.
- Second way of getting back into it is by using the friend list pop up screen. You will find GROUP CHATS bar at the bottom of your friend list pop up screen. Drag it upwards to see all group chats you are currently in.
- Do not turn off the group chat because major announcements will be made there such as which room to enter.

2/ Download and turn on ESL Reporter
- https://dawnofwar.info/?page=download#elite-reporter
- When you download from the above link, you will be given a zip file. When you unzip it, you will receive a folder with an exe program included in it. This folder can be placed anywhere.
- Execute the exe program in the folder before you launch the game.

3/ Check the Bracket and the Participant List
- When the tournament start, the Bracket and the Participant List are announced in the group chat.
- Those pages tend to change a lot due to last minute sign ups so make sure to refresh them often to see changes made to them.
- Those pages can also be found in the sign up page.

4/ Follow assigned referee or streamer's instructions
- Rooms cannot proceed without a referee or a streamer assigned by the organizer.
- The assigned referee or the streamer will personally contact you through Steam. You need to be in group chat in order for this process to work.
- The list of referees and streamers can be found at the sign up page.

3. What to do when you cannot make it to the tournament
- Following below procedures is extremely important because other players participating in the tournament will suffer various inconveniences due to organizing delays caused by not following these procedures.
1) Edit your sign up post to show that you can no longer participate if you made a sign up post.
2) Directly message the organizer through either Steam or Discord.
- If you do not have access to your computer, use SMART PHONE APP for Steam or Discord to message the organizer.
Steam - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198008307003/
Discord - Impregnable#8903

4. What to do when you have to leave during the tournament
- Following below procedures is extremely important because other players participating in the tournament will suffer various inconveniences due to organizing delays caused by not following these procedures.
- Directly message the organizer through either Steam or the Discord as soon as you realize something has happened.
- If you lost access to your computer, use SMART PHONE APP for Steam or Discord to message the organizer.
Steam - https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198008307003/

5. Observing & Observer Slot Purge Right
Observing
- Only signed up players can observe games and only when the organizer give them permission. Contact the organizer either on Steam or Discord for the permission or ask the referee to relay the message.
- You should leave if there are no spots left for streamers or when one of the players exercises the observing slot purge right.
- Non signed up players cannot observe games. Report to the referee or the streamer hosting the room if you see one.

Observer Slot Purge Right
- Players have the right to kick all observers and streamers. Even if only one player requests it, the referee must kick all observers and streamers from the room.
- If you want to exercise this right, tell the referee in you room to relay your request to me.
- Referees cannot be removed by this observer slot purge right.
- This right cannot be exercised in the finals.
