Hello everybody,
I had a talk with Eerie about a Faction War Tourney, he is gonna donate us the first place prizepool, second place prize is donated by me and the third by Swift.
However, we had some special rules in mind to make this one a unique experience.

When ?
25th November

Format:
3v3 Random Location 500 VPS
Bo3 all the way except the finals which is gonna be a bo5
We will have a loser bracket if we have not many teams.

Rules:
- Each player in the team has to play a different hero, which means for example FC, Apo, TM. Mirror matchups are allowed. (e.g. SM vs SM)
- Each team has a race ban at the start of the bo3 match (stays for the whole series), no bans in the finals.
- At the start of a series a admin rolls a number 1.2 and this decides which team goes first. The team who has to pick their race first in the first game get to pick their map first as well. Then loser pick the map first and the winners have to pick their race first.
- Each race can be picked only once per series.

So it's basically 3v3 team tournament with faction vs faction theme in every individual match?
I have a feeling some factions will be very underrepresented and others overrepresented even with bans in place.

GK, I mean OM, allowed?

Each race can be played only 1 time per series and there is also a ban for each team as well, so it wont be 1 race dominating everything or stuff like this.
And yes GK/OM are allowed ( so far at least).

So GK are an exception then that every player has to play a different hero?

I'd vote for no mirrors btw!

Doesn't seem right that a ban can last through the whole series. That would prevent a team from ever playing the faction they feel strongest with and the less experienced teams would get knocked out quickly without having had a single successful performance.

I agree with Olev.

On a different note I do think OM should be banned and I also think mirrors should be allowed. It's just a different match-up and eldar 3v3 mirors are nice, plus orks and nids. It's just boring-ass marines that have awful mirrors. Player's faults for playing EZ, boring races.
