Hey guys,
I have been thinking for a while about a league with 18 Players involved, the games will be all ranked everyone plays everyone 1 or 2 times in a bo3
(depends how well it will go). This will last 2 months then the 8 Top players move on into play-offs 1v8 2v7 3v6 4v5 ( by placing) each bo5, this quarters
will be played within a week then the semis and the finals (which is bo5 and finals bo7 most likely) will be following week.
This are the 18 active players I noted for now: Let me know what you think
IMPORTANT: The format will be 2x bo1 in the first stage, otherwise we will have to many games

4. Adila- Wl, Mek, FC, FS, LG

6. Yaay- Random
7. Tex- Wl, sorc, HT, Kn, Wse
8. Nurland- CL, FC, Inq, WL, RA
9. Ricemuncher- Tm, Fc, Inq, HT, LA
10. Toil- Mek, Tm, Lg, Knob, Cl
11. Floid- HT, RA, LA, Mek, PC
12. VindicareX FC, sorc, Tm, CL, LC
13. Torpid- Lc, Tm, Wb, RA, Wse
14. Cyris - Cl, FS, TM, RA, Inq

17. Kickin- Random

Promotion/Relegation:
If 2 players are tied for one place at the end it goes by sets won < overall score < if still tied one bo1 is played
Place 16 and 17 have to defend their spot for next season 2 highest ranked players not in the league yet get a chance to get the places from
those players they have to play a bo3 the winner stays/ goes to the league.
Place 18 is auto relegated and beeing replaced by the promo tourney winner which has 6-12 Players rank 1 replaces 18 in the leguae 2nd and 3rd
get the chance in a bo3 vs 16 and 17.

Dcs/Soundbugs:
In case of dcs or soundbugs the replay has to be checked by an admin if the Players dont agree on a rematch or to let the game count as a win to
a certain Player.

Map Pick:
First Map is decided by the random map pick tool if both Players disagree on the map they can rerole up to one time if it is the same map as the first time it gets rerolled until its a different one. After the first game its always loosers pick. Each Player has 1 Veto per set and reskins count as 1 map in a set for example the gtg desert version.

Hero Pick:
You either pick random and have to play random to the rest of the set or you pick your race/hero in every game (highest seeded Player picks in g1 in g2
the other Player. In g3 the Player with more VP advantages in both games gets to pick if he picks first or second. Each Player picks 5 Heroes or Random and has to play them throughout the Season, this is decided before the League starts. GK is banned in this tourney.

to make it clear Guys you cannot play both games in one day vs the same Player
you have to face every player 1x then you can do 2nd matches
if someone has a bad day or figured out some strat or counter they can proof it later on
Top player displayed in the current match gets to first pick his hero.

Hero and map pick during Groupstage:
Hero picks first then the map gets roled each player has 1 veto. If Random is played you have say your race.

Yeah, this could work. This idea had come up before but I was always concerned about player activity. If there's some kind of contingency we have on no-shows, then this is a really cool idea.

A nice job thinking of this. These few months we had shortage of 1-1 tournaments. If we can establish league like these, we may manage 1-1 scene without an organizer and a tournament.

Had an idea. We should make this like American Wrestling, with full musical intros and GRUDGE MATCHES. I want to see who will win in a Adila/Riku/Torpid/Pianoman Fatal Fourway for the Dawn of War Championship Belt!

Thx for the feedback guys, I would like to start it off when the new patch kicks in (still in beta) if it should have any gamebreaking stuff its gonna be either banned from the games or we just play on the current patch. Would also appreciate if someone is willing to help getting the system going and to have a list of mods who take a look that everything is going as it should be.

Also the list above can change as some of them are not interested or some other players not on the list showing up big and would be worthy joining.

Ok, there seems to be decent interest. We can replace the 1v1 tournaments with this kind of system.

1-please inform/update people to the results
2-if there is anyone who streams or can stream please let people know and ask that person to do so
(for example some of the contestants here do stream:such as Torpid,Adila,Nurland,Noobus,kickin - which u can ask them to do so)
3-I will cover the good games in the casts

Yes, this'll happen. I don't know who exactly will administer it or if there's anything to really figure out here. I can only give you "soon" on this one for now sadly.

No we play 2x bo1 vs everyone many complained about it beeing way to many games to be played and it is kinda true.
Both Players time L within the first minute and map is picked with the random selecter check out the Elite League steam grp for those infos.

Is there any chance extending the league? Lately I have been focusing a lot on 1v1 games and I would be interested to enter the competition.

I am a decent competitive player looking to improve. With you Adila we played two times. Both times I won. Apo vs Sorcerer, Apo vs Warlock. The games are on the ladder. This is no boast, just a confirmation that my level of skill is corresponding to that of the league players, nobody from here knows me in person.

Moreover, I can advocate for player Life who also wanted to join. And I am more than certain there could be other willing players that might have missed the opportunity to sign in.
