Preamble:
Alright, I'm back at it on this one. First, the bureaucratic points.
-With the help of Dark Riku (who was a massive help in this process!), I've updated the Codex Tournamentus into something that might actually be usable. It's my best attempt at clearing up a lot of common confusions. I'd recommend you to check out the Codex Tournamentus if you have any questions and, please, let me know if it could use any further clarity or information!
-I've decided to change the name of team tournaments from just more MRTs to Team Tumbles. This is mostly an administrative change as it makes it easier to differentiate between 1v1 and 2v2/3v3 tournaments in records. There's no actual rule changes from an MRT 2v2 to a TT 2v2, so don't worry about that.
-As of this moment, I'm scheduling TT2 to run on the 2.4.2 patch. If 2.5 releases to the public very soon, then I will consider moving it to work on the 2.5 patch. Be forewarned that should 2.5 be released, but be very very close to the tournament time, I will probably continue with asking for the 2.4.2 patch so that teams won't be caught off guard by new changes they haven't had time to check out. This isn't set in stone, but I'm like 90% sure I'll go with this rationale. *EDIT* We are in fact going with the 2.5 patch.
Now for the idle chat
-I've left the date a litte up for grabs. I can do Saturday or Sunday this time. Let me know if you have a preference, but until stated otherwise I think I will default to Saturday.
-Other than that, I'd like to give a thumbs-up to Welshy and his running of the FA2 tournament! I'd like to remind people that tournament organizing is not something that I hold as a monopoly and I strongly encourage others to consider running their own tournaments should they wish to! It's less work for me, and I am always happy to offer some assistance as I don't plan on doing this forever

Map Picks
Maps are always selected before hero picks.
The first match of a round will always be a fixed map as shown in the brackets. After this, the map pick will be the losing team's choice. Only maps in the map pool may be played to be considered a valid tournament match.
No map can be played more than once within a round. Each team will have the option to veto a single map during a round, excluding the first match map. Maps that are variants of other maps, such as Pale Tooth Gorge and Green Tooth Gorge, will count as one map and can't be selected in the same round.
Hero Picks
The team on the top side of the bracket cell will lock in their heroes first for the first match. Next game, the team on the bottom side of the bracket cell will lock in their heroes first, and the order will alternate like this until the final game. In the final game of the round, the losing team of the previous match will pick the map and then their hero first.
To check out who is on the top and bottom of your bracket cell, just look at the Brackets page. If your name is in the blue bar, you're the top of the bracket. If it's in the red bar, you're the bottom of the bracket.
