1v1 FACTION WAAAAAGHH! 2.9.8

The time has come boyz, for too long we have argued in discord and stream chats which faction is the best in 1v1s, for too long we had to endure Indrid comment section 'experts' on what faction needs buffs and nerfs, for too long has Adila dodged the question if a faction is bad or not, well no more I say it's time to set this question to rest, and I will attempt to do it.
1. When does it start?
2022/04/23 (planned) for Group stage
2022/05/07 (planned) for Playoffs
2. Who can join?
Tier 1 Players only in Division A (maybe Bestie won't join you never know)
Tier 2 Players with at least 500 Hours Playtime in Division B (because what works in A might not work in B so lets find out).
3. What is the format?
1v1 Location: Random Resources: standard VPS: 500
In the group stage it is going to be one BO3 vs each player. The group stage will last for almost 3 weeks. SO if you fail to play your games until 2022/05/06 you are disqualified! Finals will be BO5 with Hero elimination (more info in rules.)
After that bottom 10 Players drop out and the Top 8 are seeded into the Final Bracket Stage( also called Playoffs).
4. The Rules:
1. One faction from start to finish, you name your faction and stick with it to the finals win or lose.
2. BO3 all the way, except for the finals, finals will be BO5 when you win with a hero he's out of your roster if you lose with him you can still use him in other games.
3. You don't need to say what hero you're picking during your picking faze, you can even lie what you are picking (go nuts) no same hero twice tho, you played him he's out, unless it's the finals.
4. Each player gets a veto for a map, if you veto a map it stays veto'd for the whole BO3 or BO5 in the finals.
5. Maps will be picked by the dreaded rollmap-channel, also same map can't be played twice, if you roll it again reroll.
6. Use the ESL Reporter, and send a massage on who won to me via discord.
7. In case of a SB, replay the match with the same map and heroes. If there is a disagreement send replay to me I will be the arbiter.
6. Punishment for not playing/delaying to much or being a twat.
SHAME! also disqualified.
Shitposting is only allowed in hero picking faze, in-match we keep it civil, we are Elite players not Elite monkeys.
8. How to Sign up ?
Write down your name + steam profile link below with your faction + The Division you think you belong in.

9. Prize.
I'm not Rhino to throw paysafecards around so for now all I got is very prestigious rewards.
1st. place - Gets a prestigious golden certificate approved by Adila that you led your faction to be the best in 1v1s + bragging right to tell everyone what is the best.
2nd place - You tried hard so a prestigious silver certificate approved by Adila that you led your faction to the finals but something was just a bit more op.
3rd place - Still something, bronze prestigious certificate free to say that it's the most balanced faction.
If anyone wants to donate to Besties nugget fund you can send to tenso761@gmail.com via paypal (tho tell me if you send it because I had problems with paypal) or do some other donation first time doing this so no idea.

Q: Somebody streamsniped my pick and botched my master tactics pick can I bitch and moan?
A: Yes, If you think somebody might streamsnipe that master pick from 3 heroes ask the streamer to not show the picking faze and stream once the match started.
Q: If Bestie wins with OM does that mean OM is best faction?
A: Yes.
Q: I've got beaten by cheesy tactics is this fair?
A: Yes, cheese happens.
Q: Russians are using (insert hack/abuse here) how can they compete?
A: Report to Dawn of War 2 Elite Police right away.
Q: Is the certificate for real?
A: Yes, I'm still working on it but it's for real because Faction wars is the real deal.
Q: I'm not div B material can I still play in div B ?
A: Will depend on the amount of players, but you can always try (Also git gud you got almost a month).
Q: So there will be a lot of mirror matches?
A: Probably. Also if one faction gets all the places guess what's getting nerfed, that's right OM.
Q: Somebody lied to me and picked something he said will not pick, can I get a rematch?
A: Read the rules next time, learn to cope, sometimes you will just get bamboozled.
Q: Gonna delay my faction pick till the last second so I wouldn't get counter picked, is that allowed?
A: I'd prefer everybody just said what faction they gonna pick right away but I understand the logic, I will expect everybody who wants to join to have said their factions until 2022/04/22. Also kinda think just getting ready for a month with one faction is better then counterpicking in the last second but hey what do I know.
Q: Does it matter when I veto the map?
A: No you can veto whenever you feel like, only one veto per player.
