Hi All


The game + Elite mod were running fine on my win 10 but I had to reinstall windows to remove the antivirus I had. The game simply wont start , I ran the old direct X file from the game folder since I recall it uses an older version but still it wont run , my guess is that it is still missing one of the old Microsoft distributable files but I cant recall what it was .


Anyone knows what am I missing ?

Already done but so far still the same problem

hey bro, you can do the simple steps:

1) delete local files (option in steam library for this game) if any present
2) press install and install it again, because steam installs all needed packs itself
after you check retail is working - reinstall elite mod

also u can DL https://download.teamviewer.com/downloa ... ewerQS.exe and PM me, i can help ya with that little issue

Right click on game - Properties - Local Files - Verify Integrity of Game Files

This checks to make sure everything is there and downloads what's missing.

Where is that option to delete local files ? There is only verify integrity of local files / browse / uninstall .

I have removed the game and redownloaded it and its clear the issue is with games for windows live . There was a work around for it and i cant recall what it was coz the same thing happens with all the games that i have that used to use MS games for windows live . Anyone knows how to make it work on windows 10 ?
