Tome of Subjugation Crashes Game

Twice today, I've had my game completely freeze up and crash when using the Chaos Sorcerer's Tome of Subjugation ability on an enemy unit. The unit becomes under my control, then the game immediately freezes up completely; in one case I was not even able to alt-tab out of the game, but had to turn off my computer entirely. Has anyone else been having this issue?
