Hans is working on the Eldars, will post it here when they are up ^^ I'm quite curious how will they look :3
Right now I'm working on the Assault Terminator + Commander Terminator ^^ Though must say, the Commander will be tricky, since he dont have anything "iconic" on the armor, it looks like a standard Terminator armor so I think I'll have to cook up something for the guy xD
After that the Devastator squad will get a fresh portrait, since some people noted it looks too much alike to the tac. marine portrait (its true... they look quite identical if the icon is small).

When I'm done with those I can start to work on the Krieg/Ultramarine/Word Bearer DLC infantry and stuff :3 Cant wait to work with the IG troops icons ^^
Oh + the sub-factions (like Alpha Legion, Dark Angels, ect.)

No seriously watching your art has given me new found excitement for the game! Really great work m8! I had always hoped that someone would come with the passion and love for the franchise to work on the portraits! What can i say? The emperor provides! You rock man! Also kudos to hans for all his great work! His art is awesome as well

Apologise about the sudden halt in unit portraits, just stuff piled up on me and I have my hand full of moving to a diff. city :/
Hopefully, I'll be able to settle soon and get work done solidly

Would like to get back to work on the mod, I really enjoyed drawing the portraits so far :3

I just realised when I was doing the devastator marine + the Terminator head...
They made the easy-way with SM:
They actually used in-game units for the portraits that got a sloppy side-light to work as unit portraits T_T Only stuff that had faces, mostly commanders needed a drawn portrait (like Diomedes and the vanila DoW2 heros, like Avitus and the like).
Was quite disappointed oO

They did the same thing with most vehicles too xD Tho they made a really nice job with the DLC commanders :3 I really love how the Dark Angel chapter master looks

Or the Chaos guys

Too bad poor Nurgle Champ didnt get a new portrait or look with the Word Bearers :/ (same with Ultramarine/Dark Angel portraits)

And agree, they tend to be confusing to watch... I always mistake Purifiers to Interceptors XD XD Not to mention the two Termi variant's portrait looks identical too T_T

Is the red colored helmet on the Assault Terminator O.K. Caeltos ? Or should I recolor it to white? Couldn't remember if the in-game had red or white helmet basically ^^;
It would be easy to recolor it to white if you need it that way

Helmet colouring for Space Marines is chapter specific. Blood Ravens terminators have white helms, but the FC terminator has white with some flashes of gold iirc.

I assume that white = first company, and gold = veteran for Blood Ravens.

Hm, then I assume I should recolor it to white, due to the fact that all the base portraits use the Blood Raven color scheme
