Ok, so since the drawing was finally up, I figured I might as well upload the re-worked edition of the Premonition drawing =) Wanted to wait with it until the final conclusion is out on the contest
Managed to slip it in just at the deadline (wasn't satisfied with the Warboss + some other bit more lazy elements like the maple leaves. Thanks for the critique Sub_Zero :3 Bugged me so much I couldn't stand it xD), but wanted to surprise you guys
Anyways!

Its rather a step-up compared to the previous version :3
And yes... thats a gretchin on the shoulder of the warboss XD

Well personally as a long time eldar fan i just like your art better than the 1st prize winner but of course kudos to him for winning. Now if im allowed to be a little selfish here... there have been a lot of new chapters, chaos warbands and guard regiments in ELITE mod just waiting for your art to give them even more life through portraits! Your art is one if not the main reason im checking the site daily waiting for your posts! So i am hoping i can see some of them soon... Plus i think exodites skin is coming soon as well! Cheers

Yea, I'll try to draw portraits inbetween when I can =) Want to work on the rest of the IG roster + the others as well =)

I'm sorry Kilgarn, but I personally like your first drawing better
In your newest one the banner is a bit too big for my taste and the images are too much in focus. I like the way that they looked a bit blurry since it's an image in the water of what to come. I also preferred the multiple Orks over this very detailed one ^^ Sorry, I'm keeping the other one as my screen saver
Congrats on coming 2nd! Keep it up. You're doing awesome!

Thought I'll share how the battle scene is developing so far
Things are still subject to change, but so far I'm liking how it turns out ^^
The captain in the front is more or less final (at least as long the design is concerned), the others may change a bit
Anyways, here it is, a closeup and the full view ^^

Oh, and the stormtrooper(IG) and catachan devils are in the works
Hopefully I'll be finishing them before sunday-ish

Glad you are alive and well Kilgarn. To which I must add a guestion:
Do you work out art for the Eternal crusade as employed person or do you get commissions from them?
If so I cannot wait what you come up with Chaos! - Yarrick says with high hopes in his mind seeing Chaos sorcerer of Thousand sons kick serious eldar ass by leeching their souls from their soulstones. Tisk tisk.

I'm working on them, it just I have little time to draw at the moment.
I've lost my original job so I'm out job-hunting and helping out around the house and the family business which takes away a lot of my time.
I do try to work on the portraits though, but commissions do take priority.
Hope you understand.

Hi there people
Just finished a big work of mine, thought I'll share ^^ It was made for a Space Marine group at the Eternal Crusade forums =) I have a few similar battle scenes on the go, the next will be an Imperial Knight vs. a Trygon so stay tuned
Oh and not sure, but if you like I can modify the Chaplain a bit and you can use it as a Legion of the Damned Chaplain portrait =) I got more time on my hand now so I'll try to finish the IG roster ^^

Ps. I love the touch of detail in the Gothic themed structures in the background. Adds into the scene immensely
PPS. As I know little latin I noticed the shoulder plate and saw the "fides omnia Vincit". That means "Faith conquers all" . Silent le- . . . ?????
"cham si suorum" , "If their Hammer . . . " (?).
PPPS. I feel like I need to commission something from you some day.

Got two things =)
1st - I just submitted my work for the GW's freelancer position :3 They asked for a test-ride, an SM vs. Ork drawing. Needless to say, I was freaking happy about this assignment ^^ Soooo not sure when they'll reply but... hopefully you guys will be able to see some WH40k artwork in the future, altho this time, it may be official

2nd - Though that might as well show you guys what I was drawing
You guys are an amazing community soooo
You will be the first to see it, aside of GW, I wont publish it anywhere else before I get the reply from them
Oh, and made a little icon from the Ork, if you like use it ^^
