No. Don't really see the point of that tbh.

It generates HYPE and hype is awesome for publicity. I'm down for anything that grants this game the attention it deserves even after dying, I can't resist but to peer inside the coffin of this game. It's just so pretty

Whenever a model/unit dies any unit that dealt any damage to it will get some exp.
I don't believe this shares the overall exp gain, although it may do...

i still dont get the difference hiere between GK and SM or even chaos. all of them have a dediacted range squad with more or less damage and something else (scouts, Tics, Stormtroopers) so actually i am thinking storm troopers is yet the best to deal with sents since tey also have long range + dece...

Re: Project Balance: Eldar section
The heart of the problem is what webways can do, alongside what IG/GK can't do and what warp throw can do. Let's face it Relic weren't intending to make the next starcraft-e-sport type of game, they designed some things and some races (namely IG) really poorly. Webways are a stupid featureas is the a...

Re: Project Balance: Eldar section
Tbh, you can't use light vehicles vs eldar because their whole T2 counters, it, Dark reapers take down razorbacks quickly, wraithlords with 100% fotm are lols, warspiders nades are the best at disabling vehicles, and the falcon provides enough AV to treat any light vehicle. That's hyperbole, a good...

Maybe it's because of the way the GK meta works...
Suffice to say GK are like melee orks hence they bleed more and struggle to maintain an economy as great as SM's, not to mention their entire t3 and even t2 ultimately is VERY dependent on terminators.

Re: Reinforce allys from Swarmlord
To be fair I think it's fine as it is, the swarmlord himself is kited by tanks (at least the VC fex can hold it's ground) and doesn't do the AOE terror that a barbed strangler does, not to mention he is far far easier to counter despite his abilities than a TB fex since the fex has both rippers and ...

Not particularly sure what would happen if someone was a straight up ...

I doubt Indrid would ask for donations via his website he was so rich, but then again, that's not unheard of. Suffice to say Indrid does indirectly support the mod, as do all casters. Indrid being the most popular he does so the most. He's great advertisement and increases the playerbase. We need st...

Re: Teleport/Invulnerability in High DPS tanky heroes
Not really sure what you're taking so much offense at Pepper, but Riku is right to say it is rather offensive to say Caeltos should sit down and take a proper look at all the wargears each of the heroes have. One would assume that was one of the very first things he did when creating this mod and th...

Re: Teleport/Invulnerability in High DPS tanky heroes
Well personally I never use it due to it's rather large power cost and uselessness in t1, I find by t2 my nid deathball is already rolling and spending 40 power on that armour is really meh unless I have CC which then costs another 50 power... Not to mention that invulnerability ability costs energy...

Idd, but as of yet it's not fully updated, granted you only just changed it recently, yet I know things like the wiki have been unfinished for a while, if you invest too much time into thinking about this a burnout may be likely to occur.

It doesn't matter if we bump up the price to 50 to 75, or to 100. Someone is going to make it work regardless, and will have the exact same result and pay-off, if not better if he utilizes it better. The player has no idea how much red was put down onto the red, and how much he has accumulated, and...

Re: Does GK need another AV squad?
Well again I disagree, it depends on the map and your hero. With the farseer they're an excellent choice against tanks and transport as they will kill them in seconds alongside FS buffs/debuffs(doom on vehicle), infiltration from her gate and a haywire. They're extremely mobile and can catch a razor...

That's really really awesome Lulgrim, if you could pull such a system together that would be Amazing, but don't overload yourself here, would be better of course to have one simple but constantly updated system than one half-finished one, that's slightly more complicated.

Re: Teleport/Invulnerability in High DPS tanky heroes
If you think PC fist is OP you must really think FC fist is bonkers. Again with the bad comparisons. They both do AV dmg and the similarities end there. The FC fist is more aggressive due to it being on the FC and the ability it has vs vehicles. The PC fist however has a very nice anti-infantry abi...

Re: Teleport/Invulnerability in High DPS tanky heroes
i belive plague champion fist should get the nerf hammer too. You can counter melee, range and tanks with it No you can't, the plague champion is slow to begin with, can be suppressed and knocked over and has poor health. When he gets pestilence he can still be suppressed but becomes even slower. T...

Re: Teleport/Invulnerability in High DPS tanky heroes
I don't think neither of these are inherently OP tbh, the prices of both of them make them fine inherently. Adjustments can still be made of course, but I don't feel these effects are a total-No No to have on such heroes.

Interceptors are the best unit in the game right now and it's only justifiable and not causing outright rage because obviously they are a part of the GK faction.

I disagree. One flank from fire dragons on a transport with no immediate repair support and it's done, not to mention fd +ws or fs gates/doom/fortune/guide.

That's why he said FoF that doesn't reduce ranged damage. Granted, it does have a proper name, it isn't called FoF, but yeah, essentially it's a FoF that just doesn't affect ranged damage.

Re: Does GK need another AV squad?
well upgraded purgations function like fire dragons/stormtroopers but do more damage to infantry while lacking an AV ability.
Other than that the only dedicated AV squad they have would be paladins, but even then, that isn't dedicated AV.
