Re: Bugs/Issues Thread
The idea is that the stikkbombs set off the mines instantly without them needing to spend time arming themselves, and given that the mekboy mines have a 20second snare on vehicles that synergises greatly with tankbusta's and their barrage allowing for some interesting power-free ork t2 builds.

Re: Bugs/Issues Thread
Not broken, it's a good synergy between two things 1) mek mines 2) stikkbombs
for it to be effective vs vehicles you still need to follow up with some other AV. Tell you what though, I like it, and will have to try that one myself, thanks for the idea

Nice link, good to know where the plot was heading, although not so good to find out that the franchise will end there. Somehow I really enjoyed that game.

Re: T3 Termas
It's OP due to the economy of the nids. The gaunts are still rather duralbe (although, it's way better now and not quite as OP and frankly I aren't sure it's op anymore), and they reinforce super cheap and super fast considering their hp.

Re: Fleshhook mechanic and detectors
Yeah, I read that wrong. The hook can't faceplant units lol. That would make the lictor functionally retarded, how would face-planting a havoc even help it would just set straight back up again, not to mention it would make hooking heroes/sub-commanders absolutely useless. Why would anybody even wan...

Re: Purgation Justicar?????
Well comeon, I think Riku knows fine well that a squad that can't FOTM and dies VERY quickly to sentinel missles can't counter a sentinel. It's like saying yes, to counter sentinels buy catachans. I mean, is Riku just trolling here or what, I'm genuinely confused here.

Re: Purgation Justicar?????
Well I'm not going to explain why a strike squad fails at killing a sentinel, nor a purgation squad who unlike strike squads can't FOTM and have less HP, or a rhino which dies in a couple of missles to sentinels and moves way slower and has less hp...

Re: Tyranoform addition
I would prefer it for the pattern of the current nuke to be randomised. Non of the nukes are random, they all have a fixed pattern. This game doesn't need more randomness. Are you sure? Isn't that what makes people generally deem the tyranid nuke to be UP? The fact that is so slow and the pattern s...

By driving to the side instantly, or it could just shoot them, or the army could just shoot them since they have very little health. Not like Tyranids have mega strong on-the-spot AV anyway, if you know what I mean - manticores/wraithguard/plasma devs/eldritch/cyclone missle launcher. Still, I don't...

Re: GK Balance Suggestions
The units are just tanks for primarily ranged armies. Especially ogryns, those guys have SHI armour, a warp spider squad will only take off about 60 of their 1.8k hp per burst, that's ridiculous, and that's their role. The downside of ogryns/purifiers being that they obviously don't counter suppress...

Re: Fleshhook mechanic and detectors
I agree with the original changes, but certainly not what Ace is suggesting. the whole premise of playing the LA is the ability to bleed your opponent early on and gain that early game advantage, while in the later game/bigger engagements denying the enemy the support of his hero/subcommander when h...

indeed kevk. even longer range with that skill. it was not to call purgation OP or so, just to debilitate the Argument that a CC squad must not have a gen bash potential. so as is sayed. i dont need it, it was just to ask. Purgation is NOT a CC unit. It controls one squad at best and even then you'...

Re: 2V2 Strike Squade lul'z
It can't really be OP though because it can only be used in teams. Furthermore it requires player synergy, i doubt it's anymore OP than IG with a brood nest and a melee HT supporting them. Not to mention the 2x SS requirement is a bit of a big ask considering they only become useful in t2, I mean, h...

Re: Land Raider Phobos
I mentioned turlting because I'm saying it's very viable to rush through t3 going straight toa super unit after only one or two t2 unit purchases, whereas people were implying that this would be suicide in a 1v1 due to loss of gens/map control. Such is not true. Therefore rushing a phobos, which is ...

You're not offering any rational basis for your claims so if you're not going to do that and formulate an argument for us to debate about then fine, just straight up show us this replay whereby you keep positioning your entire army around one webway gate to slaughter your foe WITHOUT getting bashed/...

Re: Is it OP or is it UP?
Except eldar are an army all about positioning, they're hardly orks, they can't just pop out and charge senselessly at an entire army because they will bleed disproportionately, unless of course it's a warlock with warp throw (that ability...). Furthermore I'm talking about in 1v1, so most of your a...

Re: Some General changes that IMO need to be done
Well it isn't a straight up buff as they would lose melee capabilities and the AC does do some melee dps, in fact the other day I actually wiped a guardian squad on retail with GL tics w/ AC in melee and the AC got the kill, nonetheless, I think such talk is pointless. The argument: P1 - The aspirin...

Riku you seem so bitterly nonobjective in any discussion regarding eldar it's really quite ridiculous. How is it common that the whole eldar army would be situated around a single webway gate with banshees directly next to the gate and the ability had not been used by the time you launch a full on a...

It's not like asm/raptors are UP, their leap doing damage would be a major buff. They're jump units, they're not meant to be fantastic at retreat killing, I don't think they warrant any change.

Re: GK Balance Suggestions
that's why you have GKI to make the distance. GKI being the best t1 melee unit in t2, alongside canticle and just the libby they will shred everything, and I mean that, they will kill banshees fully upgraded of an equal level without losing 1/3 of their hp. You're using the GK libby wrong, he's real...
