Re: Mucus Discharge Heal
Exactly what Tex said. Since the Nurgle worship does scale, most of your concerns are solved right there. You are ignoring the balance issue here. If the PC has access to a scaling heal + Nurgle worship (that also scales) and all his defensive options (shrine - yes the shrine, fetid, ao pestilence, ...

Re: Mucus Discharge Heal
The heal for the PC is quite ok imo and helps him to manage T1 quite well. Double CSM with him around are quite dangerous as they will outshoot quite a lot in T1. Add AC-Tics and Fetid to the calculation and it will be difficult to win that engagement. Just imagine a leveled up PC that can pump out ...

I see what you are getting at. I was wondering why you kept them in play, that however clears that up. So would my suggestion make any sense? It would have given you the possibility to retreat out or at least the choice to do so. P.S: Havocs having melee resistance really comes into play when being ...

Re: Chaos VS Eldar need some advice
The Plague Champion has the ability to fire and move while under suppression fire. Blight Grenades may be enough to deter the DAs to not move from their current position. Try to split your army and make him choose which units to supress. The most logical choice for your enemy would be to set up the ...

A better vehicle snare for Space Marines? The one faction that has excellent AV capabilities? That would not be a good idea in my opinion.

Re: ASM blind grenades
It is as the guys have said: I would rather have the energy to jump out of an engagement than throwing a blind grenade. The units you want to counter with the grenade are the ones you want to jump anyway (mostly).

Re: ASM blind grenades
I find it to be quite useful on Angels Gate because many people will place suppression teams inside the buildings. So when I jump in I sometimes throw the Blind Grenade into the building to allow my other units to join the fun. I don't see any other use for them though because as Cheekie pointed out...

Re: Chaos VS Eldar need some advice
I agree with Crewfinity: 1x Heretics + 2x CSM + 1x Havoc squad should let you deal with Banshees + Dire Avengers just fine. It becomes a bit more complex when Rangers are introduced because they might knock your havocs over and give your Banshees room to move but you still have double CSM and the PC...

Re: Plague Champion vs Brother Captain
I have since played a few matches as PC vs the BC and now tend more towards the Sword. The Bilious Discharge is fun to have and must be really annoying to the enemy but the Sword just gives you so much more. It's 65 dps on Heavy Infantry ignoring melee resistance in T1. It is strong. Combined with t...

Re: Snipers in T2/T3
Scouts by no means become useless in late game. They are your repair units, they can infiltrate and scout out the enemy lines (though detectors are easily available in late-game), they can go for ninja caps, etc. Their dmg may not play a big role but iirc one lvl 4 Tac model still looses 25% of its ...

Exactly. Sentinels had a keen sight radius of 15. They were not detectors like Rangers but they had an above average (3x) keen sight radius.

Re: Plague Champion vs Brother Captain
I second Crewfinity here. I found that Letters perform ok against Purifiers when under worship. In hindsight the best BO in this case would be Torpid suggestion: screw the Raptors in favor of the second CSM. Get the Sword (and Letters in T2) and let the Inties and Purifiers have it in melee while 2x...

So far Sentinels have always had keen sight radius of 15. That should make them immune to mines. Correct me if i am wrong here.

What I was trying to say is that if we could tweak the scripts that are already in place to extract the information from the files, we could automate this process. Nobody would have to manage the changes. Unless the ratings are hardcoded, meaning they are not calculated in a automatic fashion. Just ...

First of all let mal thank you for your input. Word of advice dont play plague champion in 1v1. The game I was referring to was a 3v3.
