Dont think thats necessary at all. CSM perform quite well in their current state and i see no need for a new ability on the unit. They already have Eternal War if you want a performance increase on the bae unit.

No use at all. They dont havr any abilities beyond slaughter so why would they need energy? Thats really only used on squads with multiple abilities to add functionality beyond ability cooldowns. Cooldown limits single ability usage, while energy limits multiple ability usage. If you think they are ...

Terminator flamer performs well in its role and needs no changes. Just because you don't know how to use it well there's no reason to break that ability. Done responding because you don't seem to be getting it.

Why dont we make Tac flamers melta damage while we're at it, doesnt seem fair that they shouldnt have an anti-all option in t3 -_-

Nobody here has been talking about a "lead programmer" except you so.... no. Myrdral does all the coding and as far as i know we havent had any requests to change that.

If you cant imagine why an anti-all AOE ability on a squad with a massive health pool would be broken then idk what to tell you. This is one of the dumbest ideas ive heard in a long time.

No - because we've described in detail how silly these proposals are but you keep trying to argue that melta damage on cleansing flame would be a good idea. This mod is focused primarily around 1v1 balance and changing the ability damage to melta would be incredibly dumb. Its already beem addressed ...

I have over 2000 hours of experience in 1v1 (which is the mode that the game is primarily balanced around), and am on the lower end of the experienced players.

Your proposals would make KCSM/Raptors/CL balls-crazy OP - for reasons already explained by others above.

Willing to help in any way you need (balance, codex, general updates). Got a fancy new computer so willing to download whatever i need in order to interpret game files. No specific experience with any of the files or code but im generally tech savvy so i can probably learn pretty quickly.

Librarian is also great against blobs. He synergizes offensively with purifiers (shrouding ability and might of titan) and defensively with purgation/ist (smite, sanctuary).

Tanks feel fine at the moment. Nothing too OP, nothing lagging behind, either by general in-game feel and on paper. I like the recent leman russ changes a lot.

Are you aware that you can call in capillary towers anywhere you have LOS for just 35 red?

Did you know that you can spawn rippers and spore mines from capillary towers?

Nome of your proposed changes sound like good ideas to me. Termagaunts and ravenors would be wildly OP at your suggested costs.

That seems like an incorrect assesment. Some tyranid units have higher than average upkeep per population, but in general the tyranid faction has low population values per squad. So overall you're paying higher than average upkeep on lower than average population, so they have a big early game advan...

usually i buy them when the enemy gets setup teams, so you dont have to invest in something like stormboyz :)
sometimes i'll get them vs blobby opponents as well, it can work wonders against catachans when you combine it with AWD to prevent them from avoiding it.
