It's off season for sPvP in Guild Wars 2 right now and the playerbase for DoW 3 went up due to the free weekend so I'll give the game another try.

I changed my mind. Going to be sticking with DoW 2. The game just feels so much better.

Some Ork players don't upgrade to them in T1 against SM since they beat Scouts by default and they want to fast tech.

I'll probably take another look at it, but if it feels like the same I'll just be leaving again. Don't know why they don't have a spectator mode, automated tournaments or anything else that a community can form around.

Did they nerf Eldar speed allowing them to be everywhere with no penalties or Orks Waagh killing everything ridiculousness or Ork stun/taunt spam or improve the gameplay to make it more tactical and less spammy or improve controls so your units don't all just lump up after an attack move order or ma...

I downloaded version 2.6.1 of the mod and then 2.7.0 as instructed. When i open the game though, it says "version 2.6.0" on the main menu and i can't find any games/lobbys. I've tried deleting Elite mod and downloading it again but the same proplem occurs. Does anyone know how to fix this...

There was an update to take away the skull requirements for elites. Playerbase has been continually dropping. Is now at 400 consecutive player highs. It's because of upkeep. It starts once you're over 30 population and increases the more units you have. A large army will have less req gain and a small army will have higher req gain.

Play whatever hero you want to play. They're all have their own ways of dealing with things. When you play try to focus of making the correct counters, using your abilities in ways that would bring the most use and making sure your positioning is correct. There aren't enough Eldar players and not enough of them being good for there to be any definitive knowledge of what hero is best or not. Just play whatever it is you like and constantly try to improve yourself to see how far you can go.

I don't play Warlock anymore. Just FC nowadays.

Warlock is probably the weakest of the Eldar heroes, but it also very offensive and straightforward so more people play him. WSE is the strongest in 1v1 and Farseer is the best overall.
