Maybe they were accidentally given kommando fist as a weapon? I've heard that thing reads most of the stats right out of the game files.
EDIT - nvm they are different weapons.

DA and Shoota melee seems sky-high
I was browsing through the codex and noticed that the current melee DPS values for DAs and Shootas are 11 and 18 dps per model respectively. I was under the impression that it was ~4 for DAs and ~6 for shootas, has this changed recently? Because if it has, it is a massive change for first engagements.

Re: Tyranids units cost too high
If you call in Tier 1 units during Tier 3, all you do is play hide and seek. How is that nonsense? I have no proof? Why do IG get ST for 200 req? Why do DA cost 10 req more but does more dps and bleed less (having less models)? IG get a call in for less req than many others and Eldar get a basic sh...

Re: Tyranids units cost too high
Like Torpid said, the nid eco is so powerful in the early game because of how little population it requires. Take the standard 1 hormagaunt and 2 termagant opening. You can buy fairly inexpensive upgrades that make them both strong enough to compete with other races' T1 units and neither upgrade inc...

Sometimes I cannot use targeted abilities by clicking on unit cards
Sometimes when I am using an ability such as execute or apo heal, I will try to click the ability on the target unit card. Often, I will get the error sound and won't be able to cast the ability, even though the squad is a valid target - I have gone immediately from not being able to target a unit t...

Why do Pdevs missiles have tracking?
Please forgive the noobish question, but why do Pdev missiles track units that are moving? Couldn't they perform their job as an anti-fortification and anti-ranged blob unit without missile tracking? This would prevent them from perpetually stopping a charging melee unit in it's tracks (since heavy ...

%chance to completely avoid a burst of damage. So RNG ftw.
Oh wow, so if my autocannon setup team fires a burst and misses, that's 2 seconds x 45 burst dmg per second negated. Amazing.

It is intended. Instead of giving the standard KB resistance that other shields do, it reduces the accuracy of enemy attacks against him by 20% while active.

Painboy seems to provide more than just build order variation. He makes T1 for orks a lot less painful against some chaos and nid builds.
Edit - Also, some of the units were just added because it seemed cool or literally just because. I have see a few people say that about LRP and a few others.

People are bitching about a unit that does massive, consistent aoe KB with no friendly fire?
You SOBs already have pDevs, a unit that is superior to NM without costing 30 power, and the telespammer. Learn some fucking gratitude.

Wouldnt giving apo a bolter destroy the internal balance of SM commanders in the early game? TM does amazing ranged damage, FC is a melee superiority fighter, and Apo provides heal + a degree of melee competence.

It might be an issue with GM squad leaders due to the extra models they add. Would be nice for other squads, especially banshees and ogryns.

What is your definition of a bullet sponge then? The only other non-vehicle unit that is comparable to them is Chosen Plague marines, their melee counterpart. Can you name a unit that actually is a bullet sponge by your definition?

Re: Plague marine bolter damage
Hi, Is there any reason why bolters on plague marines do so little damage? I suggest this could be buffed, since the unit is very underused and is generally a poor choice in T2. It's underperforming both against vehicles and especially against infantry. It's totally incomparable to tac squad upgrad...

Don't know if you've already found him, but Indrid is the most well-known game caster for Elite mod. Look up games where people are plying IG - Freeman, Torpid, Noisy, Slaaneshi Cacophony, Ace of Swords are all names to look for as IG players.

IG Spotter Infiltrate
Just a random idea, - if IG spotters were given a passive ability to infiltrate in cover or after staying still for a certain amount of time, it could improve their ability to passively provide LOS. I only say this based on my experience as a former IG main, but it seems I don't use spotters for muc...
