The bolter seems solid enough.
Not sure how the DoT will work out but it can be increased/decreased after testing.
(If ever implemented ^^)

The Armour has too many traits. Shouldn't give you all of that.
It's like artificer armour + signum armour + extra energy :p

you can make it effectively unflankable by putting it in a narrow location or corner and using your army to cover the flank and support the turret if it gets attacked. a turret is a "no fighting here until t2" unit, which a setup team is not. And then he is locked in one place. Go cap the...

If you want the upgraded plague bolter to have an ability it should be at least 30 power too.

I would be cautious with the suggestion for the ability you made.
It sounds like it can easily tip the melee battle to your favor,
especially since it's coming from your ranged hero.

Sterngaurd sarge can die. He can just be reinforced at base like a normal member though and has the same stats as the other members.

still, my issue with turrets is that they are too effective when they work. baring LG or FC with wargear and a flammer they have no hard counters in t1 and some races don't even have soft counters, just units who can kill them in certain situations, usually involving bad turret placement. they're b...

Weirdboy is indeed freaking awesome. Ranged Sub commander with a mini plasma cannon that doesn't require setup and extra abilities. Even then, wraithgaurd are less "instant" counters since anything can tie them up.

Turrets can be flanked. And can't reposition themselves when you do. If one builds a turret he is pretty much committing himself to that part of the map. You can basicly hit & run on the flank of the LR with a laspred and you will eventually take it down easily.
A laspred is not enough to kill a LRP. The LRP will kill the pred easily.
