I just used HF on termies 3 times last night. It's more effective than I toughed. IG, nids, Orks and Eldar, it wrecks everything. This weapon needs no buffs IMO.

There are 2 reasons why people don't get HF on Termies. One of them is the range problem, second is the lack of need. People love HF with Termie FC, because they can teleport, use it, and retreat. It is an bigger risk tho getting AC up, exspecially on CSM, because they are not so tanky and Chaos has only decent support at best, so playing offensively is a bit harder. Also the squad doesn t have an upgrade for which the AC could be needed. And slaughter is not usable anymore, if unit is marke...

I got this, don't worry 1-) Aspiring Champions are just a great buff for your squad. Insted of getting more units, you are just getting a small upgrade. I also agree that they can be reinforced heavly on power, and I liked the reason behind it. But still, 100 power to reinforce they whole squad is too much. It is because late game Chaos was deemed rather req intensive. So they cost less requisition but more power to reinforce than SM/OM variants. Good explanation, thank you. Lets point out the obious here. Why they are so expensive to reinforce? They cost less than any Terminator variant, they are much fragile than any Terminator variant, they even do less damage from their Storm Bolters compared to SM variant (30.71 vs 33.87 dps) so in short, pretty much Chaos version ...

I always toughed those explosives giving you really big sight range was a bit odd. Maybe we should decrease it down like 50%. But in the other hand, it should have sight range since it is detonated manual.
