Re: 2.6.1 Showcase Vod
Will we see patch notes, and will we have a chance to give feedback on those patch notes, prior to release? I pretty much went through the notes line by line in the vid, but there won't be a publication of it until published because there shouldn't be multiple versions of notes out confusing people...

Re: ELITE Mod 2.6 Release Thread
Shieldwall hotkey moved from Q to W.
Charge Hotkey changed from W to Q.
...WHY?
Still disagree that Nids do not get their snare back but we will see how the other changes affect the meta. Maybe for some reason tanks will be weaker or whatever.

Re: Elite Mod 2.6(Test Version) Changelog and Feedback Thread
I just noticed the TG hotkeys for Shieldwall and Charge have been switched around AGAIN. Don't do this. The previous swap was made to bring all the Nid charge abilities under the same hotkey, which was a pretty trivial gripe for some people apparently. There is no reason to swap the ability hotkeys ...

Re: Give PM and CPM HI Armour?
If you changed the hp of PM to 445 and CPM to 500, then gave them HI armour, they will have the same effective HP against piercing damage that they currently do, but will have the weakness to plasma/inferno/power weapons that other units wearing power armour have. I once asked why giving them HI ar...

One last think which worries me is that no zoan snare in 1s the snare it very important it wasn't the snare that was not op it was that how cheap and that the heath regan stacks with other zonas to crazy regan still not fix this. now these day you need in 1s you need to win in t1 as nids before veh...

+1 for pretty much everything Freeman said.
And for god sake give Nids their snare back. This idea of 'win in T1 or lose' being somehow a cool meta-whatever is beyond me. I don't see how it leads to fun games for either the Nid player or his opponent. Why even give Nids a T3.

Re: Some high level OM feedback
3- Setup team counters are far too weak. BC more of less needs sword and purge to counter a setup team, and emperor help you if their are two. Ops stun and IST nades can disrupt, but the faction lacks followup to capitalize on the opening, and both of those squads have a tendency of taking bad blee...

Re: A New Idea About Melta Guns
Of all the anti-all weapons in the game I think melta guns are actually fine, because their platforms are balanced. The only obvious exception is Fire Dragons but that is because of the ridiculous combination of their speed, rate of fire, knockback resistance and swathe of supporting abilities open ...

Re: "SEE BUT DO NOT BE SEEN!"
Are you for real? It's a very big deal that scouts shout from across the map telling the enemy they are going stealth. No other unit does that. It is a balance issue. What if other units that were bought shout out to the enemy that they were just bought? BLOODCRUSHER SPAWNED. Quickly, prepare your ...

One is a stealth unit the others aren't, it's completely different by your logic we should hear from half across the map the LA/lictor and every unit that can infiltrate + inq armor and Knob infiltration going stealth and ofc that makes 0 fucking sense. On top of the fact that you can hear them wit...

Re: "SEE BUT DO NOT BE SEEN!"
Simply because you have to be aware of your own units, scouts shouldn't shout from across half the map they are going stealth. So then by the same token, can we remove all the voice lines that betray opponent's abilities (including grenades) being used, or specific attacks being made (ie, snipers)?...

Then again Rangers can't chuck grenades from stealth so I'm fine with Scouts giving some advance warning of possible inexplicable squad wipes.
Not to mention they also snitch on enemies attacking them.

Re: Setup team AV weapons as upgrades vs standalone units
Those solutions might help you survive T1, but then when T2 rolls around your opponents 3 SUTs can scale well into the mid and late game by changing weapons, while you are stuck with 2 rangers or 2 spotters. Seems like one player has to consider a tradeoff while one does not really have to. Apart f...

I agree on the giveing the zoanthrope a snare back but it have damage? No. If zon got its snare back 2 zons would be absolutely cancerous and cause transports vs nids to become completely redundant. Not to mention with the snare Nids can actually hit a tank, so adding damage to that snare is a nono...

I am against banning any kind of in-game mechanic from tournaments unless it's a specific patch-related bug or something. Don't punish Riku and Mathis (or anyone) for actually playing it smart and using effective combos.

. As for changes to the tyrant guard. I would agree on a price increase, but i would also increase the speed of the bugger a bit but remove the melee charge he has (not the ability) when he is not being benefited by synapse and when he is under synapse he gets a melee charge. I like this idea. As a...

Heyo, maybe someone knows this one: after tabbing in & out of a game, I lose all health indicators of units currently on the field. Sometimes they return (like after entering vehicles etc.). It's not that big of an issue (unless I tab out by accident instead of hitting x), but I thought I'd ask ...

Re: Tyrant guard melee resistance
Can I just dispel some misconceptions here: 1. Calculating the time it takes to kill a TG in Shield Wall based on DPS is a bit misleading, because most AV DPS is delivered in big bursts. Therefore, when a TG gets below a certain amount of HP it will straight up die with the next shot. The actual HP ...

Re: Tyrant guard melee resistance
Melee resistance for the TG would be bonkers, he is already slightly underpriced as it is.
I disagree with people who complain about Shieldwall though, if that ever gets nerfed then the TG should not have to rely on Synapse for its speed.
