So after calculation it did ~45%dmg to the GUO in the full 10 secs.

The ability seems to be doing more damage than 30%. Taking out a GUO/csm by using the ability 3 times. (after 2 times it did about ~85%) But tics on the other hand lived after 3 times. Could it be that the dmg type increases that 30% or something? I have no actual idea on how his abilities works... ...

Catachans doing power melee for example makes no sense at all.

I don't see the point for this squad. Ig already has catachans. That do power melee. It would also not fit in the design (and fluff) of IG. No normal human would want to go in close combat. Since in the grim dark future almost any xenos bests a normal human in close combat. Also melee isn't a counte...

You are already contradicting yourself in your own response.
There is also this thing called phase shift.
And numerous other things you can combo it with. Not that that is necessary though.
