Minor detail, but can you give Imperial guard sergeants the repair ability? It will prevent them from occasionally wandering off from the group when a repair command is given.

Ok I see how it works now. So in order, you have a wind up period, then you fire a burst for a defined period, then you wind down, then you reload? Do units only fire a single burst before having to reload? It seems silly that they would empty a clip that quickly. EDIT - I just saw that on the codex...

Instead of another retinue, maybe he could use more veterans (4 or so). Also, those veterans should hit harder, not with roughly the same DPS as a normal guardsmen.

Either a psyker with a power based off of what you see in the AM codex, or perhaps the master of the fleet/ordinance. Could give him a mini-nuke or something, similar to what the LC has.

The whole point of the eldar is that they fight in a way that doesn't result in bleed. They hit the enemy in a way that allows them to do maximal damage while allowing minimal enemy retaliation. If you find yourself in a static, cover-based firefight with an opponent, you probably aren't playing acc...

I hope this is true. If they could make a game that replaces the silly retreat function with morale, gets rid of stupid looking special attacks and kill animations, and gets rid of bouncy-castle style knockback in general... I would cream my pants.

perhaps he means the least fun elements. rather than they dont perform alot of the nurgle stuff is either clunky to use or way too effective against certain things.. like for example how chosen plagues are kind of ehh in an annoying kind of way or how plagues marines are so difficult to get rid of ...

I certainly agree with the explosive rounds on the heavy bolter - it makes me assume it is an explosive attack with AOE. I'd rather they change the bullets to another colour the way kraken rounds do.

The funny thing is that there is a ripe field to plow if you want to complain about low-input high-output chaos cheese, but these guys actually seem to be one of the least cheesy units. Literally the last thing I worry about when facing chaos.
