Re: CSM EW AC. Idea, reasons and video inside.
KCSM are fine. They definitely don't need a charge range increase, they're already extremely fast. I do think they could have their 20 power cost back, or maybe 25 mainly because KCSM really really need their AC to be effective and in elite he costs 25 power as opposed to 15.

Alongside some subtlety and superfluous euphemisms, that's exactly what you said, whether or not it's what you implied. And again, you act like I'm a retard. Do you really think I deem something as too strong because I win with it? Well guess what all races are OP then. Oh wait, I don't say that. -_...

Re: T3 Termas
I'm by no means unfamiliar with the tyranids. I have a very powerful LA in 1v1. Just, watch this replay. The combination of the DOM and the Tank-hunter-termagants is pretty hard to counter and this isn't just possible in 2v2, I've done the same thing in 1v1, where I just get a TG in t2, harrass with...

Re: T3 Termas
They're both really OP. The termagants do way too much damage, killing fire prisms in about 3 seconds and predators in about 5. That isn't even half of the issue though, the other half is that it makes the squad incredibly bulky and impossible to bleed while giving them fantastic damage. Although th...

Re: GK woes vs ?
Ok, well with regards to the first thing you are totally right. Offensive heroes in general are very difficult to deal with as the gk and this is because they lack a proper suppression unit. Normally it's far easier to control such heroes becuase you can just get havocs say, and then your foe must g...

Re: I can't stop talking about Tacs n' Sternguard...
Tacs if anything are currently OP not UP. The things are bloody amazing. They just bleed everything so fast without ever losing models. That flamer is overperforming too, it needs a 30 second build time. Tacs are the ultimate support unit. They don't bleed you because of their ranged role, health an...

Re: Smoke Shells
It's just about cost effectiveness basically. It doesn't need to be able to absolutely shut it down and win on its own. For example a fully upgraded guardsmen squad is a hard counter to tzeentch marines because economically they are the far superior unit. A lascannon is a hard counter to walkers bec...

Re: Grey Knight Rhino in t1
I'm okay with storm bolter for vanilla rhino. No more than 15-20dps tho. It honestly doesn't need to do any damage in t1. It's main use is for kiting, capping and gen bahsing. It's not exactly a mainline battle unit, and it serves no purpose within ranged fights, or at least I think it was designed...

Re: Imperial Guard Chimera
Banewolf call in was nerfed for a reason and it is still very viable global. Yes, I know. However the issue at the moment is that 200 red is really hard to achieve for IG who ideally don't want to prolong t1. If I ever get 200 red as the inquisitor I will, 80% of the time, get a bane wolf. Yet, tha...

Re: Grey Knight Rhino in t1
Personally a range 40 dummy gun would be great IMO. Would be even better though if it had hardly any animation like the wartrukk's bullets. I don't really think garrsoned units should be able to shoot out anyway, that makes it too strong a melee counter and gives little time for the foe to find a me...

Re: Imperial Guard Chimera
Bane wolfs are amazing. 200 red seems a little bit much though, means you can't really ever get one at the right time (early t2) without going for a heavy t1 as IG and HT1 as IG is suicidal. I understand they were OP in retail, however I really think they're UP now due to that red cost. I think a de...

Re: Registration for the Monthly Rumble Tournament September
All the past ones have been semi-randomly seeded. I.E. Probabilities of being stuck with other players are based around seeding, however it isn't done manually so there is still the unlikely chance that two high level players will meet early on.

Re: Grey Knight Rhino in t1
Considering GK get no suppression based CC I really don't see why giving the rhino the ability to easily perform an anti-melee kiting role is so bad, even if it means the rhino loses it's t1 smoke shells.

Re: CSM EW AC. Idea, reasons and video inside.
"If the high melee damage and the reduced ranged damage of the AC (and the CSM damage too) it's not made to force melee with other ranged squad with less melee damage, which is the purpose of his melee design?" here is where i think you make your best argument for giving the AC hero a buf...

Re: Grey Knight Rhino in t1
however when you have only a few squads in the rhino and some elsewhere it's incredibly inefficient to have to use hotkeys to select each of the units every time you want to kite and disembark. What exactly is inefficient about it? Let's say your rhino is squad two and squads 4 and 5 are inside of ...

Grey Knight Rhino in t1
So, this isn't so much a balance request as much as it is simply a tweak to fix something fundamentally flawed with the rhino in t1. At the moment it really isn't useful to buy in t1 for anything other than transportation, i.e. you can only bash/cap with it, not kite. This is because everything your...

Re: Embarking the Land Raider Crusader
Well I tested it out again and it seems to allow units to enter from the sides. This is true for all the land raiders but is a bit awkward as arbiter noted. Not sure why in that one particular game my ISTs kept running round to the front of my LR, oh well :L

Re: WSE
He's absolutely brilliant throughout the entirety of the game. USe him early on to bleed enemy cappers and to gain obvious map control. His warp spider spamage is also really handy in early t2. Entangle is just OP when combined with wraithguard or grenades. Also entangle vs ogryns is just unfair. Po...

Re: Embarking the Land Raider Crusader
Yes, it may be. However it still seemed to be extremely bad for the land raider crusader which ended up making me lose about 20 models to a single manticore strike since all my units were running round to the front of it. I don't recall the same thing happening with the default land raider. I will h...

Re: GK intorceptor squades
Yeah, yeah, but the whole premise is wrong anyway because going IST, SS, GKI is a flawed build right off the bat. Therefore I just assumed regarding balance we would discuss the far better build of IST, SS, IST, GKI. In which case all those builds Ace mentioned are relevant.

Embarking the Land Raider Crusader
For some reason it's impossible for units to embark the LRC from anywhere but the front. This actually has massive balance implications as it means in order for your repair units (ISTs) to get into the LRC and be safe (like scouts can do with the LRR) they have to run all the way around the LR to th...

It's hardly an argument to say that the removal of extra armour means it's now missing something because honestly it was a pretty poor upgrade anyway. I mean you were allowing your foe to shoot away your resources effectively.

What are you talking about the SS will get mugged without grenade launchers? The SS beats all defualt melee squads and with WATH and being able to shoot on approach they even beat aspect shees. With sergeant IST support they can easily fend off melee alone. Frankly 1 IST is a bad idea, the build sho...
