What is this fascination with corpses lasting a whole game? It's not practical, it's not interesting, it's not "edgy" or "gritty" enough to warrant that much work, and I can't think of a single RTS that does it, even games with corpse mechanics.

Sound and game crash

I've just had two games where after my sound stops working and all you can hear is ambient sound, the game crashes, and retail is forced open and launches. Any ideas?

also imho the melta storms are ridiculously good. Damage? Yes. Survivability? NO. So it evens it out. Those giant oversized goggles like kinda silly. I will admit, though, the retail GM portrait is pretty good. But pretty much everything else looks bad. Catachans especially, they look like spray tanned guys going "grrrrrr".

What exactly would be the point of adding an unintuitive damage resistance effect instead of just adding HP?? increasing their health means they spend more time getting repaired. That ability he gets from his shotgun does WAY too much damage. I don't get why that hasn't been nerfed yet. You can wipe any high number-low hp squad with it even if they are just slightly injured, say 1/5 or 1/4 of their hp down and you can almost always wipe it.

Just for kicks, I'd like to see ogryns stay exactly the same, but be given vehicle armor. Aside from literally being impervious to snipers, I think given their hp it probably wouldn't be so bad. Yeah I know it would never happen but it'd still be interesting to see the results.
