Even vanilla tics have higher dps than shees (if the dps of shees and tics has not been changed since retail) and hormas have the highest dps of vanilla T1 melee squads.

Sluggas have higher base dps than banshees (shees have power melee though so they do more damage against HI/SHI). And while Shees have higher melee skill and probably a better special attack, I think vanilla sluggas beat vanilla shees 1v1 if they use waagh. So sluggas are nothing to be scoffed at. T...

Nurgle worship should grant some sort of buff to vehicles and some extra buff to daemons also. It is probably the worst scaling worship even when not considering the aforementioned shortcomings. That is only my opinion though.

Well Lulfexes are T3 and expensive as fuq. Every fex variant is like 210 or so power in retail but can't remember how the prices are in elite. But anyway an unit that costos 700-800/~200, is slow and has 1350 hp and can't be repaired with an ability to summon spore mines or shoot bioplasma is not OP...

Yeah I think fully upgraded SM lib is 1000hp, each whoregear giving him 100 extra hp. Also vanilla Apo dps is something like 25 if it's not been changed since retail so as Indrid pointed out lib dps is way higher than apo's.

I kinda agree with Raffa/Nikhel on this one. Tcsm are usually just more flexible and safer choice as you can get high dps power melee via bloodletters with less overall expenses and no time consuming upgrades needed. Kcsm aren't bad but as they don't stand a chance against any other dedicated T2 mel...

I usually find flesh over steel dodgeable with tanks (just need to know where the fc is) but it is a a lot harder to dodge it with walkers. I suggest going to Elite mod chat. Most of the people who used to hang out at L2P and are still playing are in Elite mod chat these days.

It may also have something to do with what it says in the properties of the custom shortcut the installer makes. Make sure the path is right etc.

Well since they reverted the squad size back to 7 models to start with so there are two sword models, who don't do ranged damage (at least there were back in retail when the squad had 7 members iirc).
Not entirely sure about the situation currently in elite though.

Maybe you didn't note in your calculations that the two sword models and gl model don't do ranged dmg?

I suppose Caeltos and Lulgrim know better but I'd say that they have probably not at least buffed the cata dmg from retail. And in retail it is 17,65 dps piercing per shotgun model (four of them = 70,60 dps). The demo man does 20,59 dps piercing and the sarge does 22,65 melta so in total 113,84 dps ...

In retail they did 210 power melee and 90 something piercing + 22-23 melta iirc (when fully upgraded). So T1 catas did as much ranged dps as 2 T1 tac squads (with shorter range ofc). Not sure about the current values in elite though.

Tac + Plasma + Sargent cost less than a fully upgraded TCSM The total cost of a tcsm squad is only 80/10 higher than that or a plasma tact. I think abyss is the only global dealing heavy melee aside from noxious cloud. Other nukes do explosive iirc and some globals ability flame or something like that
