As much as I bitch about the TH, I agree with Boss that it only becomes a problem when the FC can teleport. He ends up working like a suped-up jump troop, when in principle the hammer is supposed to make him an ultimate melee counter.

Also sword and fist are great items, people just aren't creative.

They are already the worst setup team in terms of suppression speed and damage at long range, why do they need to pay for the one thing that makes them really unique?

Snipers in the unmodded games as far back as vanilla were toxic garbage that allowed you to bleed an enemy with no skill needed.

The only people who miss that are the ones probably got 3-4 of them and effortlessly bled enemy armies to death.

The only issue I have with destructor is that whether it hits you or not is completely up to RNGesus. It has basically no windup and no indicator so it is impossible to miss in theory, but it will sometimes flat out not damage a target even though the player aiming it was spot-on with his aim. I was thinking of making electroshock grub unique to the BS warriors, and making dessicator larvae a AG-only upgrade.

Since I only play nids on those rare 1v1 randoms I won't speak for 1v1 balance, only 3v3.

Couldn't we just let both forms of warrior squad have thorax swarm? The thorax swarm was only proposed in the first place because of the fervently anti-zoanthrope snare sentiment of 1v1 players. It is a great upgrade, but it still requires you to potentially over-expose your paper-thin warrior squad...

I don't play a lot of GK, but I will say that last time I tried it, enfeeble will essentially hard counter a shee squad as long as you have some good piercing damage available.

I'd try it, but honestly my expectations have been lowered so much that a remaster of DOW1 with pathing and collision that wasn't coded by interns would be awesome to me.

The Exarch would win, since he has 275hp (vs commissar's 140 hp). He also does slightly more melee damage.

AFAIK neither has a melee special either, so it would be a matter of who has more hp.

I don't see why a squad that has 4050hp with it's leader at level 1 needs to have any DR on frenzy. They got the suppression immunity back, which is perfectly fine as a gap closer, don't know why they need anything more.
