I believe the actual name is: Global Tempest produced by Epic Score but it only contains the first portion.

In the abilities tab, the Firedragons' "dragon scale armor" still states it provides ranged damage reduction and doesn't specify which knockback immunity it has.

Re: Thinking about GK!
I can fully get behind swapping purgs and rhinos into t1 and t2 respectively with the obvious tweaks needed. It would seem to be a good option. My only concern would be if SS's weapon upgrades would be less impactful and useful since they would be overshadowed by Purgations, espeially since, to me ...

Re: Thinking about GK!
I was actually thinking about proposals for reworking Paladin and Terminator teleports. One of their strengths is being able to teleport aggressively and tie up ranged squads instantly. What would your thoughts be on removing the teleport from them. I say this beacuse there appears to be lots of way...

Re: Techmarine in 1v1
I've seen Toilailee do well with the TM, especially in 1v1s. If you have the opportunity, watch his replays. Turrets can effective but as you've mentioned, they are situational. The choke points near the natural powerfarm in Quest Heresy and the top of the stairs near the 2 VP in Fedrid Folly are go...

Re: Fire Dragons
Just to back up on something more constructive. Fire dragons are part of the Eldar roster, they have plenty of tools to approach. Most of which are very blatant and easy to see such as Holo Fields, Cloak of Shadows, Group Teleport, Falcon (which adds to the cost of fielding them significantly), and ...

Re: Chaos Doom Bolts cooldown
Ah, my bad, I got confused. The only thing I could add to the discussion is that since the damage of doombolts is spread across each bolt, you can avoid some of the damage if you are mobile. 108 aoe damage on the first 6 bolts sounds scary, yes but it isn't a flat damage of 108 if your squad is on t...

Re: Raptors.
But disruption has other applications other than to hinder counter intiation units. An example would be able to disrupt ranged blobs. Disruption also has the strong benefit of giving you a easier time to move in your melee squad, set up some form of combo and giving your ranged units the some time t...

I think you made some mistakes, using doombolts only fires 3 bolts at first at the cost of 60 energy, if he has spare energy, he will fire another 3.

Inquistorial Storm Troopers for GK, Hormaguants for Nids and Sluggas for Orks. Just in case, Heretics are the first squad for Chaos.

Re: Bugs/Issues Thread
There seems to be some confusion so to clear this up, Embolden is an active abiltiy that he breaks suppression and boost the squad's damage by 25% while taking 50% less courage damage. The ranged damage resistance is a separate passive ability. They are listed in the separately in abilities tab. htt...

Re: Crack shot vs. Guide
Not drawing any conclusions but there is the potential Guide plus Doom combo though. Also, Crack Shot only buffs range damage, which a large portion of the Eldar army can take advantage of but is something to consider. Edit: Just realised you mentioned the last part, sorry. Regarding your last post,...

It was probably removed due to how shootas can suppress with Aiming? Wotz Dat? You also have the lootas and the deffgun on the Mekboy for other suppression options.

Re: GK counter to CSM spam in this situation?
I'm a bit confused on which scenario I'm meant to answer on so I'll answer both :P In the first scenario, probably get dreadnought but if you insist that you don't want it then try forestradio's suggestion with the Terminator librarian and use buffed smite. In the second scenario, with a AV unit, I ...

Re: GK counter to CSM spam in this situation?
I've not crunched the numbers but I'm confident TCSM would have defeated your composition had you went ahead with your plan. As the others have mentioned, getting a dreadnought might have been the best option (although that would be a difficult task due to bleed and losing map control, going with th...

Re: Why the WG spam?
Probably a combination of the two hypotheses or more. As for why WG spam has become more prevalent compared to the previous patches, I could only rationalise this as the other players have caught up at how powerful they are, even with the changes. This could be attributed to Indrid actually, I'm sur...

Re: Tyranid gaunts
Why does costing power and having power melee make them a dedicated melee unit. Warrior broods are a melee unit with strong support capabilities that will supplement your army. You could, for instance, go by the reasoning that they need to cost power to prevent them from coming out too early. This b...

Re: seer council: wraithsight.
A little bit. Although if we are being strict with fluff, I don't think Warlock and Farseer should be granting of wraithsight since their role is entirely different to Spirit Seers. In terms of balance though, if Seer Council did grant wraithsight, that would be more of a indirect nerf than a buff t...
