So, according to the codex a squad of shotgun scouts has the same DPS of a tactical marine squad (without a weapon). With a sergaent, a scout squad has superior dps to a tactical marine squad with a sergeat (but no weapon). Getting multiple scout squads with shotguns is much more economically viable...

I would like to see a new unit use modified versions of either the Falcon scatter laser, or the Falcon pulse cannon. Both of those seem really cool and underused to me, although both are probably impractical for Reapers.

Chaos has had more new units than most factions have had, and I would much prefer see people look back at fixing issues with existing units like bloodletters than jump ahead to try and find specialized units or roles which chaos doesn't already have units and upgrades for (hint there are none).
