space marine thermal vision To be fair, things like this only come up as a very brief mention in codices and... that's it. Even on tabletop the only marines with commonly available "acute senses" were ones who actually ditch helmets for the most part, which (I think) were mentioned as gea...

Re: Steam Reviews are less than stellar

Also you have terminators and even BUILDINGS hiding in long grass. I've yet to verify but I think they also hide imperial knights. To be fair, this is 40k we are talking about, the very universe that gave us scout titans and incorporated a ton of over-the-top things just for the sake of it. Really ...

Re: Dawn of War 3 is official

My impressions in short: trailer is not what we are used to see for 40k trailers. More symbolical, I'd say. Good to see for a change. Screenshots don't look promising, at least yet. I like DoW2 both for the gameplay and for the fluffy bits (I spend a lot of time gawking at the army painter), whereas...

Re: Patch 2.5.1

Semi-offtopic: if we are to stay close to codexes, Kasrkins' new ability can be called "Advance on Target!" (Scions version of the "Move! Move! Move!", but IIRC that one is already used for General's ability, so...).

Re: Grey Knights Super heavy unit

I hardly see a need for a dreadknight when GK already has a walker AND dozens of tanky melee units. If anything their lack of a T3 AV platform (due to being a non-stereotype faction) is by far a bigger issue. That said, if you MUST beg for a dreadknight, at least try to go for some fan interpretati...

Don't know why is that so funny - Chaos already has 2 super units and nobody laugh about it.

In my opinion it just shows how arbitrary the notion of "super unit" is, among other things.

It's there by years, I always wondered if it had any correlation with the double headed eagle. I think two-headed eagle is pretty much a generic symbol often taken by "Imperial" states (and their inheritors, but that's natural), probably since it was used by Holy Roman Empire onwards. Not...

Just to throw it out there, DoW1 didn't allow your buffs to affect allies. Interactions and combos were still possible though, granted it was limited to stuff that affects enemy or everyone (so you still could stack Marauder's smoke screen with Dais' force filed on something like scourges for lulz a...

I actually think that the general idea behind the story is fine for what it is. I'd even say that it's better than background stories used for campaigns on average because of element of mystery in it. That part about shady call for exterminatus, for one. I imagine it has quite a potential if players...
