Is the nerf of the interceptors really a good idea ? I mean these guys don't seems to overperform currently and you have units like catachan or commandos who are a little bit everything and are more used.

Well do you really want to get gaunts when you could field tyrant guard, raveners or venombrood ? I think in almost every situations these are betters (except mb if you lost a lot's of squad).

But I've to say I'm not a great 1v1 player.

ok, so another one: Still nothing for the D canon ? I know eldars are not underperforming currently but this unit seems really useless at the moment since the fireprism does a better job to counter blobs even in team games it is barely seen.

Well if I understand correctly the issue is just that LA can flesh hook the scout sarge while out of detection, so the solution is either to nerf the range of the flesh hook or to increase the detection range of the sarge and shoota nobz no ? I agree it seems really cheesy to wipe a squad.

I also question this idea of "spotters are the only thing ig has to counter blobs".. how the heck did ig deal with them in vanilla then? Did they just roll over and die? Now I will admit the last time i played IG vanilla was a long.. long time ago indeed. but i cant remember ranged blobs ...

The problem is that they are way more than a simple hard counter to setups. They tend to be able to shut down ranged armies in general unless there is a TON of space. And sure in a 1v1 environment where units are spread out and there is space to spare they are more manageable. But this is flat out ...

What about an ability reducing the damage taken ? It would help the squad to keep the models alive so the dps would be preserved. Another idea I have to achieve the same goal is to decrease the accuracy of the squad hit by the ranged attack of TCSM when the AC is alive.

well even if it's an interesting and lore friendly idea, there are still the two usual issues; first the modeling and animation (even if I guess the model of CS with his staff could be used) and two the balance, as putting a control ability on an already powerful range squad would be completely OP.

chaos sorcerer is not supposed to be a melee beast tho, it's a support like the farseer which mean he should have better abilities but less damage and tankiness than the heroes dedicated to it

At some point they have been some serious talk about a new staff in T1 to help sorcerer to deal with aggressive heroes. Why have the ideas been abandoned ?

Don't really like these Imperial guard changes that much. Why is the flare getting a cost increase? With the league atm, the 2.9 should use it as a spotlight for the balance; currently IG seems to overperform while nids struggle. The other races seems fine (mb SM slightly too good tho). Also OM needs fixing, but you've made interesting changes for it.

I don't understand half of the changes, why Neurothrope should be buffed as much ? why warp spiders should be nerfed ? why messing up with upkeep (not a good way of balance cuz hard to predict the impacts) ? Why nerfing Eldars and buffing leman russ ???? WTF with the WW ? So plz Cyris, explain each ...
