It would require making a new tile set first—however, compared to building novel units, which also require animating (which no-one can do at the moment), this static work should actually be simpler. With an alliance of map/3D/texture people, that is.

Combat-Stimmed Merciless into a Scout ’nade used to be a solid Apo move… Although using the Stims on Lib Smite (back when Stims were +40% and Smite was 4×25) was so good & easy as to overshadow most fancier combinations.
