The UI is not really a large problem anymore. The concern now, is more related to actually having the assets - new race race means new models. And every model has to be animated in a way that it looks like it always was a part of the game, not just some clunky, tacky, amateur add-on by a free mod......

Why not give IG a useful melee counter in T2 instead of OP stuff in T1? Why not give Nids an OK T2 instead of OP stuff in T1? No consolation to play vs a weak T2 if you get rekt by an OP T1. It's literally their racial design.

It's like how sentinels and catachans are so overpowered vs melee in T1 because come T2 IG are absolutely horrendous vs melee.

I understand many feel that the Raptor AC was overperforming, but I think having an upgrade that only applies to a squad leader (who is not die-last) is not a good solution. Chaos changes are all good, except Chosen Plague Marines. They already have enough handicaps by default, removing heal on death might be a little overnerf imo. Removing that heal on normal Plague Marines was a good idea, but CPM needs that heal on death. About turning Avatar into a deamon type unit...
