No one wants true balance. People just want fun games. Spam is the antithesis of fun. It does not matter how hard or easy it is to counter spam. It is still annoying.

the delay change did make sense. I remember it was hard to hit anything with eldritch unless your opponent was looking elsewhere. They are not trash but not necessarily amazing either. They are a pure utility unit much like the Artillery Spotter Squad. That being said, they can be amazing in T3 to spot for your fire prism or your d-cannon.

It was changed because it was a hit or miss ability and often missed for no reason at all. It is more predictable now to hit at least once and one can better depend on it to properly work. I like that it goes against the formula "one upgrade for a specific role" and thus adds some flavor. However, it feels like a no-brainer to get as there are no drawbacks. IMO, once you get the upgrade, the squad should fire its barbed strangler less frequently or lose its suppression. But ...

If you play the linux or mac version of Dawn of War 2, you cannot play multiplayer with players who play the windows version. This is somewhat known among veterans to reduce the probability of sound bug occurring. Does not completely eliminate it though. It has also something to do with the amount of main memory your pc has.

It does not work and it would not make sense to port it to linux and mac. The linux and mac port of the game do not support cross multiplayer with windows.

Fire Dragons got a lot of nerfs already. They bleed heavily and as such I field them rarely as is. Very risky unit but with a very high reward if used correctly.
