I also had this issue.
I didn't know that you need to select the location of the game when installing the mod. And I can't remember reading this somewhere.
The install wizard just asks for a location like it doesn't matter.

Maybe change this text? Or make a note somewhere?

Before deleting "stuff" I ran the installer and thought it didn't work, because of the version number displayed.
But if this is just a bug everything is fine now.

I have problems upgrading to 2.5.1. I deleted any DoWII related stuff and elite and started new. But as you can see here: here it still says 2.5.0, right? I assume it should be 2.5.1? I double checked, I ran the 2.5.1 installer. I also tried to run the 2.5.1 upgrader, but it reported errors and didn...
