Taros with no Tau.
There is a new map, Taros Mining Facility. However, despite being a Tau world there is nothing there to indicate so. It could have been anything. Why are we strapping a famous name to a generic and nothing special map like that? I reckon there are Tau units in the game available through other mods a...

Re: 2.5.0 Balance
This is going of my lore and TT knowledge. In the TT codex they are just called a champion while the Dark Apostle is an HQ choice. They don't give him the visual of a power weapon because he doesn't do power melee :) I thought in one of the replays Indrid mentions he does power melee much like the ...

Re: 2.5.0 Balance
- 6 man Astra Militarum HMG? Why? More models for the LC to execute, more HP over all and so more survivability, some other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. It isn't because the race is supposed to be "blobby", so the comparison to Orks doesn't really mean anything. HMG squads being too la...

Re: 2.5.0 Balance
Things I like: - Heretics becoming of the meat shield they are. - Karskins are finally Heavy Infantry. That should have been the case all along. What was the idea of putting a non-infiltrating infantry unit into tier 3 without either heavy armor or any sort of damage/knock back resistance? - No more...

Re: Elite Mod 2.5.0
Some thoughts on this: - Grey Knight Terminators will be played more now that Paladins can no longer retreat. I get the idea that Grey Knight Terminators are faster than Space Marine counterparts, having that Eldar gene in there, but this is still hilarious. - Karskin finally get Heavy Infantry prof...

Re: Elite units "count-as".
It's probably because your guys haven't be properly trained. Plus they have likely never met Chaos Terminators before, otherwise they wouldn't be there to tell the tale. What? How does that explain anything? If they never met Chaos Terminators before, have they met Loyalists Terminators which they ...

Elite units "count-as".
Can we change it so that units will have voice reaction to Chaos Landraiders similar to Space Marines Landraiders and Chaos Terminators similar to Space Marines Terminators?
I see Chaos Terminators. My guys shout "Chaos Havocs". I am confused.

Faction popularity.
Does anyone have the stats for how popular factions are? I go to games and what I find is that way too many people are playing Order factions and not enough are playing Disorder factions. Too many Space Marines and Guards. Not enough Orks and Tyranids. Chaos and Eldar are somewhere in the middle. Ca...

Imperial Guards HMG problems.
There are numerous problems with this unit that I will just list them here: - Dudes not manning the gun keep running forward. This allows them to be tied up more easily. The same happens to Guardian Weapon Team but apparently not any other race. - Clicking "retreat" when set up means somet...

Re: Are Imperial Guard Stromtroopers inflexible?
I don't see much problem with Stormtroopers nowadays. I have a lot of successes playing them. I, however, agree that Meltaguns are a waste and you are better off with Autocannon/Lascannon or rushing to tier 3 to get a Leman Russ.

Re: Does anyone use the Baneblade anymore?
If you are in a supply surplus, then it is definitely better to grab a Baneblade. If the fighting has launched you into a more destitute position, use Leman Russ instead.
I would always buy the Baneblade if I have the resources.

Re: How hard is it to transition from 3v3 to 1v1/2v2?
I find it very difficult. Now, I play Company of Heroes 2 1v1 fine, but Dawn of War 2 with all the melee and balancing issues just make is tough for me.

Re: Flack Jacket vs. Carapace Armor:
30 seconds is too long. That would be far too powerful. 20 power is too cheap for an outright suppression counter. I can see a cost decrease of 5 power to provide this wargear with better timings, but small steps usually work better than big ones. That is NOT an outright suppression counter. The Lo...

Re: Flack Jacket vs. Carapace Armor:
Or how about just allow the Carapace Armor to give the Lord General himself suppression immunity? I hate that wargear because the suppressed Lord General keeps falling behind and soon the other units will be outside his buff range, where they will be, in turn, suppressed.

Is Storm Shield too good in tier 1?
Force Commander charges straight into HMG team. Ties them up. Takes only 50% HP damage during the charge. Still has 50% energy left. And this buff applies to anyone close to him. Honestly, who would buy the Iron Halo in tier 1 anymore? This wargear is ridiculous. It counters all HMG teams, Banshees ...

Re: Unbalanced or I am mistaken in anyway?
This is an easy question because assult terminators have access to thunder hammers which claws are an optional sidegrade too. They don't need claws to be good in melee. The chaos terms do. So you can argue the ass terms can be cheaper if they don't need the claws Chaos Terminators are more versatil...

Unbalanced or I am mistaken in anyway?
Chaos Terminators with Lightning Claws cost 620/170. Loyalist Terminators with Lightning Claws cost 720/170. Both are exactly the same except Chaos Terminators have 1.25 health regen, compared to 0.5 of Loyalist Terminators. Why? How can a cheaper unit available to all commanders be outright more po...

Re: Patch 2.5 (WIP)
Anything that ADDS models to IG squads instead of LOWERING them gets a thumbs down from me. Why? They are already blobby as hell. I already have a lot of trouble clicking the right unit. The Heavy Weapon squad has a problem when dudes with lasgun run forward and get get in the melee, making the guy ...

Re: New Faction
I don't want any new Imperial Faction. It's the same as playing on the tabletop, with Imperial factions filling over half the players and I am bored having to fight who are supposed to be my allies (or have friendly practice with them) with my Eldar and Grey Knights alliance. Tau or Dark Eldar or Ne...

Watch this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gm_uPcWqK9Y At 16:01. Even Indrid says it is the power of the Rok that there is no way you can avoid being hit. Yarrick retreats immediately and still lost 1 full squad, plus many models on other squads. Can anyone give me an example of rocket run do...

So This is probably an unoriginal concept but i think it is something worth looking at (again? maybe?) Why dont we make tacs 400. Why? 1 better relationship between tacs , csm and strikes. currently tacs are the weakest of the three. Not by much mind you , but they are the clear losers. If we compa...

Good thing then that the IG nuke isn't the weakest by a long shot. And it can wipe armies with ease. The bullshit about the Tyranid nuke being bad needs to stop as well. I posted this before. After a dozen games or so, my stand still holds. Now that a new patch is coming, please do something about it. it is unfair that the IG nuke is the weakest in the game like that. It does little damage against vehicles and can NEVER EVER EVER EVER wipe out entire army of anythin...

Re: Dawn of Tanks
Tanks in dawn of war have a lot of pathing issues. Were not for the fact the availability to counter them is lower than Company of Heroes, these units would be completely screwed. But I am serious here. A tank in the tabletop can move faster than average infantryman, so this is a good thing right now.
