Yeah, vehicles in DoW2 are pretty hilarious bad in terms of behavior, which is rather inexcusable on Relic's part seeing CoH1 did it so much better. Between the "must face first weapon to preferred target", preferred target being NEAREST and not at all related to any ideal versus value in ...

From what I can tell, this is pretty much a no go. In CoH (and DoW1 iirc), a hardpoint can be slaved to another, allowing for things like pintle mounts atop rotating turrets and coaxial machineguns. That's because you're not using nids right.

Toxin sacs lets your termas cripple and kite melee squads.
You use hormas for ranged squads, preferably in large numbers.

Easily. Just replace the currently used textures by the wargear upgrades. (or change the textures used)

The main issue would, ironically, be people being used to the old icons now having to remember the new ones.

I hardly see a need for a dreadknight when GK already has a walker AND dozens of tanky melee units.
